I'm getting discomfort under my right rib cage, had tests for liver etc all is fine.

Sometimes gas release (hehe) helps. Sometimes not. Sometimes stretching. Sometimes not.

Can you please tell me the symptoms of ibs?

Many different signs.

Pain anywhere or everywhere

Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea

Nausea, vomiting

Anxiety

Needing the toilet for bowel movement very quickly

Any or all of the above and no doubt some others I haven't thought of

I get that on my right rib at the back. Now associate it with ibs as if i take two buscopan it goes. As if coeliac wasnt enough!

Hello,

Your gall bladder is located there and I recently had mine taken out because I had gall stones. Not sure what your symptoms are but I used to get periods of pain, similar to indigestion/heartburn that lasted for hours and hours and nothing helped it. Look up the symptoms and see if they match. I asked my doctor to scan to see if I had gall stones and I did. Had operation and now I feel great,

I have same pain feels like a knife cutting me inside. I have ulcers and digestive problems but ulcers healing and still have that pain. Had IBS since I'm a kid with constipation. IBS causes cramping spasms diarrhea constipation. It's different for everyone and certain foods can trigger it. Fiber hasn't helped me but it may help you. Hope you feel better.
