Oh dear...sorry to hear that....but...it has happened to me too...oh well...!
I now wear dark suits when I go out as.ibs strikes at the most inopertune times....carry buscopan and cocodaamol with you to bind and relax the bowel which is the first thing that goes haywire in times of excitement with me...I also can take ibuprofen at the same time...
I hope the date went off without further hitches...and trust the follow up event will be less eventful.....!
Hi, What is Buscopan and Cocodaamol ? And How do I get this? I can't go Places like normal people for The Terrible fear and Panic of having to run to the bathroom. And like you that is the first thing that goes Haywire on me, it just has to slip into my mind and I'm sick and have to run. Usually the Panic and Fear of it is so bad I don't go anywhere. Or I have to run home. I always go places alone so I don't have to disappoint anyone Hard way to live and lonely.
Buscopan, paracetamol, ibuprofen are available from any large supermarket which has a pharmacy and shelves for medicines and Co-Codamol is behind the pharmacy staff on request .
I think you should see your GP though,as suggested by other members to confirm and heed the advice in this forum, however some of the panic symptoms may need to be addressed seperately with clinitian supplied prescription meds first.
Please keep us posted here as I can relate to what you say as I try not to be paranoid, but when travelling on trains I try to locate myself near the loos and at railway stations,I automatically find out where the nearerst toilets are, just in case I need one suddenly - fortunately as I know what to do to bind myself up in preparation for such travel,I haven't had need to find one quickly for a while now.....!!
