ASDA's new toilet signs mean that no-one feels 'invisible'

'There still seems to be a common misconception that those with a disability should 'look' disabled before making use of specific facilities, such as toilets and parking spaces. But, as we all know, disabilities come in many forms, and not all of them are visible.'

  • That is excellent and I have shared this on Facebook. Funnily enough a man made a comment to me only this weekend when I went into a disabled toilet. I said to him you are before me and he said 'I'm not disabled'. Just goes to show that more understanding is needed.

  • those bathrooms are there for anyone who needs them. We have that sign in our local shopping centre as well.
