Has anyone tried Silicolgel at all. If so any comments on it? My mother-in-law has persuaded us to buy some for her as she has suffered for many years. She is now 88. I'm thinking of trying it too but would like to hear more about it first & also return from holiday before trying anything new!! Thanks

Silicolgel
I took it for a couple of months - it definitely helped settle my acid reflux and tummy in general, but didn't do anything major. Still worth giving a go though in case it works for you!
Hi I tried it a couple of weeks ago and found it helpful I have ibsd if you are in the UK my advice would be buy it from Holland and Barrett on the buy one get one half price deal as it's not cheap but definitely helped me I am now trying fybogel which seems to do the same but a lot cheaper good luck hope there is a cure soon
Hi,
I have found Silicogel quite a help with IBS D. I have also used fybogel but cannot see the connection. Silicogel helps to stop the D , where as if I am constipated Fybogel acts like a laxative.
Anyway , that might just be me but I think Silicogel well worth a try.

I'm hoping that it will help me to come off PPIs for acid reflux & help with the cramps I get in my transverse colon & associated wind build up & pain. Will try it when I return from holiday & update here. Thanks for replies so far.
