Cold and IBS

Whenever i get a cold my IBS flairs up i currently feel like ive got bricks in my guts and i feel sick.

Ive pretty much done nothing today and i feel terrible, like i could pass out.

Anyone else feel this way?

I get the same problem. I think it is a combination of...

1) mix of medicines that don't agree with me, especially the stronger stuff over the counter to help with head cold and chesty symptoms

2) the nasty stuff phlegm etc getting swallowed and making the digestive system unpleasant

3) sneezing/coughing putting a strain on muscles, squeezing etc

Hope you feel better. drinks loads of water and herbal tea.

Sorry to hear you are getting hit with twice the misery. Could it be some ingredients in the cold medications?

I wasnt able to take medicine for my cold as it made me vomit on Thursday. Im slowely feeling better now but still in pain 😢 x

Yes, I'm the same. I've got a horrible cold and my IBS is not good. I think in my case it's the disgusting phlegm that upsets my system. I just take paracetamol and organic honey until I'm better. Hope you improve soon.

Ive got them nasty stabbing pains in my back now which annoys me as eairler on i felt fine. I got hungry during work and everything kicked off. Feelin sick, stomach ache and the feeling i need to poo bad but nothing. Im releasing stools atleast 3-4 times a day atm but they are more solid now so i know im making some improvement.

Back onto the mebevirine tomorrow ready for my works xmas night out
