Symprove

Has anyone tried the 12week course of symprove and had success? I tried it but only for couple of weeks,I'm thinking of trying again for the 12 weeks,but would appreciate any feedback as it's another expensive item .thanks x

Hi cassie , I have just bought my son 4 bottles of symprove ,he can't deal with the taste . So I have three unopened bottles all boxed etc brand new.. Would you like to buy them off me for a reduced price so I can at least get some of my money back . I would sell them for £15 a bottle if you are interested.. Then you can get an idea if it works for a bit less money .

Thanks for the offer,but if I decide to try it again I have found a site that is doing the 12 bottle course for £127,I tried a couple of bottles a few years ago and it did nothing but have read you need the 12 week course,could you not try adding a drop of cordial or something to change the taste.I know its disheartening when you have wasted your money I have cubards full of expensive stuff that hasn't helped,but you will try anything to help with this nightmare illness,x

Hi,cassis like you say expensive . I tried it for a few weeks but it made me feel quite unwell. But one shoe don't fit all. But I would have thought if something takes 3mths to have an effect it can't be a lot of good. I would however expect results a least after a couple of weeks. Don't get fooled into something if it's expensive must be good I've bought no end of probiotics that have done me no good. Good luck.

Hi Cassie I have been taking Symprove for 10weeks have 2 more to go. you ask what I think of it well I do have mixed feelings about it , firstly the cramp gas and pain are quite a lot better also I B S D ,I can now go a week to 10days ,and I am so happy and then hear it comes "again" and I'm back on Loperamide Capsules ,but only for a couple of days . In 2weeks time I will be maintence course ,I am keeping my fingers crossed that by then it will form some sort of patern ,i will let you know .

Thank you,hope it works for you,Im undecided whether to give it a try I have wasted so much money over 20years ,I have just tried the so called miracle probiotic alflorex and it didn't make any difference ,before that I paid £129 for a private prescription antibiotic that has worked for lots of people but made no differance to me ,I suppose we have to keep trying but I have had to give up my job through this IBS so money is short,please let me know how you get on,good luck x
