I tried Symprove a few months ago but I got so bloated on it that I gave up- wondering whether to try it again or is it just another probiotic which may help some people and not others.

sorry just realised that other people have asked about symprove recently but wonder if anyone had severe bloating immediately after taking it and if so if that diminishes the longer you take it for.

I have heard it is the only probiotic to have been scientifically proven to work. It did not work for everyone, but around 60 per cent of those on the active product showed an improvement.

I have been taking Bioglan probiotic balance and for the money they cost have not seen any improvement so i am going to give symprove a try.

I started Symprove mid July & had a bout of diarrhoea and bloating for a couple of weeks, but no pain like I usually have with my ibs so carried on taking it & now I feel fantastic! Can't praise it enough, I have had the occasional ibs bout but nothing like usual & it's usually been when I've overdone a trigger food I have more energy, less anxiety & for the first time in years feel reasonably healthy, I e even started walking to work again, which I had to stop due to needing regular toilet stops. It may seem expensive but fir me the benefits have been well worth it

My GI gave me an advice sheet regarding bloating that said all but one type of probiotic caused bloating. Enough of that for me!

Hi I have tried Symprove ,I took the full course which was very expensive and I am sorry to tell you ,but it did nothing for me at all and I was so very disopointed as I had heard such good reviews , but who knows it may work for you ? I am now taking Lepicol+ it's the red pot I have been taking this for about 6months and up to yet I have felt good I do get the odd day when it's not so good but a very big improvement ,it works for both IBS D and C .i think it's worth a try .take care .
