I know I have to be careful about eating grains of any sort (gluten free alone does not help) and I have been doing that, so there has been less diarrhea... (in the mornings) ... Some place I read that it helps to take a dulcalax-type stool softener (I use the Kroger brand) and take it shortly after I do my psyllium husk drink close to bed time.

The effect has been surprising... I have more formed stool now...although part is 'soft' but NOT watery and totally loose diarrhea...

I have also developed this 'lazy bowel' thing in which it is SO SO difficult to pass even normal stool. SO MUCH of this, I know, however, is 'in the mind' and fear of what is going to happen NOW. :( Somehow I seem to manage to PUSH til I'm blue in the face and YET hang on at the same time... ah ...the mind... Oh well... Hope everyone has a really good week!

If I fall off the wagon and eat the wrong food, I too get the incomplete-bowel-emptying-thing, I think a lot of people have a problem with this. Sometimes a glycerin suppository will clear things out (and sometimes not), if I have to resort to using one then I take Dulcolax that evening too.
