I have been diagnosed with GERD three years ago. Since that time I have a lot of problems with my colon and the worst of all is my itchness... all over my body all the time. At night is very horrible, because it wakes me up... I am very sensitive on gluten and all that food witch is not good for my digestive health. I suffer from bloating and I must have all the time a food diet. I have done a lot of tests and the doctors don't know what is it. I think I have Ibs...
Does enyone has ibs and acid reflux with itching?
I wiil be grateful for your advice.
Thank you.
Nice greetings from Slovenia.

Hello Violina,
Greetings from France. As well as potential physical reasons, I would consider repressed emotions. Behind reflux can be repressed anger, maybe from childhood. Skin irritation can be linked to bacterial overgrowth in the intestines (Sibo). Your doctor should be able to give you a breath test to check this out.
It can also be related to a situation (often with other people) that is irritating you and being expressed through the skin.
You may find that going to see a Reiki/energy practitioner can give you some relief, at least temporarily
Hi violina, I too have acid reflux/GERD, itchy skin and IBS C. Aloe Vera on my skin seems to soothe things down...Yoga helps the ibs...I do think it could be linked to sibo too but when i asked for the test I was told that they don't think I have it. Will push for it again.
Thank you. You too...no rashes, just itchy skin...but I do have psoriasis on my scalp which itches like crazy after eating anything sweet. May all be related to my gut issues
Hi Violina, I read your post and for your itching p, try an antihistamine or allergy tabs, be sure to read the directions. As for your bloating I think it is what you eat. I don’t think you need a diet you are going to write down everything you eat and what causes your bloating. Hope the allergy tabs help!
