Gastritis

I have had an endoscopy and it showed some inflammation, Gastritis. Does anyone know if there is a natural remedy for this. I am seeing my doctor next week and she will probably prescribe one of the omeprazole medicines or gavascon, I will take these if there are no alternatives.

Thanks for your help, I will try all those suggestions. I have always been a fan of cider vinegar, and have been advised to improve my calcium intake so milk should help with that as well. I have never heard of lemon peel extract, I wonder if grating lemon peel would have the same effect.

my doctor has me on omeprazole..ive had issues with my stomach for over a year now..and no help or answers..what all do u recommend doing instead of taking that? ive had slight relief since ive started taking it...but im not even half way relieved of it.im just fed up.
