I am finding that when I have bad IBS attacks with diarrhea, bloating and gas I am also getting nausea and sometimes sickness. A few times I have been sick 4+ times. Wondering if this is another part of a stress response? or is it my digestion sending complaints in all directions!

this sounds silly, but is nausea a big part of IBS as well?
hi, ive found that the older i get the worse this is getting, im in perimenopause and on the mini pill to try and help my problems, as my ibs has been going through the roof, but its getting sort of manageable now but at the end of the month where my period used to be i get nausea and near to being sick, ive seen specialists and they say that the pill doesnt stop all your bits from working so im still getting period pain even though no period, but my ibs is triggered every month twice, it flares up around ovulation and again before a period was due, the best thing i have ever found to help with nausea is ginger, either get some fresh ginger and cut a little piece off and just keep in your mouth and let it go down bit at a time or even ginger tea its a massive help, all the best lisa
