Go to your GP-ask for something -give him the full facts! Don't leave without a script!

-until then-eat boiled white rice/white pitta bread/anything bland -no veg-paracetamol can help with pain-(Don't you mean your pooh is liquid-not your bowels)- drink pep tea/nothing with caffeine-plain water-nothing sugary/or dairy!

-boiled white fish with the plain rice may help to harden the pooh! I know it sounds grim but...........Sometimes we have to do what we don't want to.

Hi http,

When I experience diarrhoea I use Loperamide Hydrochloride tablets. They're available on prescription but can also be bought over the counter. Ask your doctor about them, they may even be able to suggest an alternative.
