Zolmitriptan

Does anyone know if Zolmitriptan, for migraines, makes RLS worse. My doctor has increased my dose per tablet from 2.5 mg to 5 mg. I never had any reaction with my legs on the lower dose but since taking the 5 mg twice last night I’ve had mad legs all day.

The Zolmitriptan didn't work at all. GPs have been unhelpful to say the least. Good people I need to know if I can you take the triptans for more than 1 or 2 days and can you also take other painkillers as well.

I take Zomig (Zolmitriptan) and over the last 20 years they have just made things so much worse but if I don't take one I become so sick and dehydrated I could potentially end up in hospital and I know they don't want people like me clogging up the system so I take another Zomig and go to bed.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with taking zolmitriptan for migraines while pregnant.

when I get a headache, I take one dose and that usually nips it in the bud or at least significantly improves the pain, then I can function normally..if I miss the ‘window’ then it can progress into a migraine with unbearable pain and then vomiting - I’m usually incapacitated by it unless I then take Zolmitriptan

The only thing that gives me relief is Zolmitriptan a nasal Sprays which I take about 10 a month. Recently I have been going through the menopause and suffer terribly with Anxiety.

Lloyds Pharmacy can't get zolmatriptan from wholesalers. Three wholesalers saying the same thing: no supply of the orodisperible type. Coated version can be got.

I currently take 100mg nortriptyline a day as preventative, zolmitriptan 5mg and am following a low histamine diet. The combination of these plus the long summer days has reduced my worst migraine attacks to approx once every couple of weeks from 2-3 a week.

The passed 9yrs i’ve managed my migraines with preventive meds, sumatriptan tablets and voltoral injestions but the last few months my migraines are becoming more frequent so my GP has suggested Zolmitriptan tablets instead of sumatriptan Any input on this would be extremely appreciated

I take Amitriptyline 2x50mg at night and if I don't catch start of migraine I take Zolmitriptan 5mg and go to bed as seems to be the only way to get ant relief. AS829

I’ve tried Amitriptyline Propranolol Zolmitriptan Topiramate Sumatriptan Acupuncture Dietary manipulation And the usual NSAIDS. The acupuncture is great but the effects only last for a few hours. Has anyone else had success with anything else?

Hi, the last couple of times I have gone to get my prescription I have been told there is a supply difficulty. Has anyone else experienced this or is it a Boots chemist issue? I have trieda variety of other migraine tablets etc and this is the only one that works brilliantly and I am getting a migraine

Aminophylline, caffeine, clozapine, duloxetine, estradiol, estrogens, flutamide, fluvoxamine, frovatriptan, lidocaine, melatonin, mexiletine, mirtazapine, olanzapine, propranolol, ramelteon, rasagiline, ropinirole, tizanidine, triamterene, zolmitriptan.

I use zolmitriptan, 2 in the morn, 2hrs apart,which eases it but I still have to use dark rooms, low noise. GP gave me blood pressure pills last week but I was fainting and pain just went down to a liveable level.

I use Zolmitriptan (zomig) but they give me a rebound migraine so I'm basically on a treadmill of having a migraine, taking a zomig and then getting a rebound. I used to try to break the cycle by using MIGRIL but in the UK it is no longer available at the present time.

My GP gave me zolmitriptan. It seems to work BUT ONLY if l will take it in right moment. Any experience with similar migraines?

severe severe attacks that I've put me in hospital and my last severe one was last year that I lost all my speech it was like a stroke this made me very worried and scared as I have three children and makes me panic because I worry when will it happen again it has made me very weak and unwell I take zolmitriptan

Help feel spaced out then blind spots with zigzag lights, totally disorientated sweat literally pours from mainly head and face, but no headache take a Zolmitriptan tablet goes within 15mins approx. but left tired and "heady" next day just feel just as bad this is happening almost daily and l cannot

I have tried sumutriptan, zolmitriptan, immigran, pizotifen, high doses of aspirin, ibuprofen, propanolol, tompiramate. Nothing works!! Some days I can't drive, can't speak properly as if my brain can't function,I'm lethargic and in total agony. I use a tens.machine for my back and neck pain.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of cost cutting exercise or now taking zolmitriptan instead of Rizatriptan?
