Effect of low endogenous testosterone
PSA now at 7.9. Biopsy showed 1 sample was Gleason 8. Starting ADT and radiation soon. Have had low testosterone (<150 ng/ml) most of my life. Non-existent libido, depression and tired most of the time. Recent studies have shown that aggressive prostate cancer more common in people with low testosterone

Vacation time again
I had the follow up appt with my MO. My PSA is down a notch to 0.2. We decided to follow the original plan of intermittent ADT and I’m starting another ADT vacation. This round of ADT had started with minimal SE’s but in the last month or so it’s gotten worse. My energy level has noticeably decreased

Difference in T3
Both Thybon Henning and Cynomel are made by Sanofi but one is 20 mcg and the other 25 mcg does anyone know the difference in ingredients. Most people on the site appear to prefer the Thybon one. I am prescribed T3 Cynomel and it doesn't agree with me. After being on NDT for years the fast acting

ART ASCO GU 2023: Testosterone Recovery Following Androgen Suppression and Prostate Radiotherapy (TRANSPORT)

Does anyone know what it means when your temperature wobbles more than 0.5c, but cortisol is actually not LOW, but high? I was not on any kind of supplements at the time of this test. But I did wake up once during the night before waking again in the morning. I was also a bit stressed at the time I did

thoughts on virtual second opinions
Hi all,My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer about 5 weeks ago. He is 65 years old. His current MO has him on a zoladex injection and next ADT has yet to be added. I was looking into getting a second opinion at MD Anderson, Mayo and Sloan Kettering. I noticed that all offered

Cardio performance abrupt decline
Currently on Orgovyx for the last 18 months with very little side effects due to wrestling, lifting weights and hiking. Then suddenly four days ago, only a block from the beginning of my daily 2.5 mile hike my energy unexpectedly ran out. I pushed forward another block assuming I could shake off whatever

Hey everyone, just discovered this site. Great info and support. I had RP in August of 2022. First psa test was 0.1, month later psa 0.8 month later psa 0.22 Psa remained at 0.22 for next 3 months. My urologist who did RP said it could be "reactive lymph nodes". A CT scan and bone scan revealed nothing

Triplet Regimen vs Clinical Trial (Pluvicto)
I was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer with diffuse bone metastases (March 20th). My PSA has already dropped from 189 to 23.89, and I had my second hormone treatment, which was

Is there hope? I’m dreading asking the question of “how long”…
My father was diagnosed in September ‘23 with a PSA in the 900s. It had already metastasized throughout his body in several parts of his bones (ribs, spine, hips, femur and a spot at the base of his skull) but no organs had been affected other than his prostate. We were hopeful when it began to climb

Moving from Levo/T3 to NDT experiences
I am wondering, after all these years, whether Levo and Liothyronine isn't the answer for me. I have read in many posts that many have moved over to NDT and doing much better. I am looking for comments please from ANYONE that made the move to NDT and your experience in doing so, whether it be positive

RO Advice for Salvage Rad
One of the ROs I've had a consult with wants to do salvage rad soon (Post-RP PSA is north of 0.1). However, he wants do the SRT w/o ADT. His rationale is that if we do ADT concurrently, there's no way to tell if the SRT was working. Plus, he says that if the SRT fails, then I'll be in the same boat

Are you adding t3 to NDT? Why and does it work for you?
Hi All, I have come across a blog from Dr Childs, he seems to be using t3 with NDT with most of his patients. Armour doesn't work for me on its own, I have been adding T4 to it, but so far haven't felt better, it feels worse to an extent, when I add it. I would love to hear from people, who are adding
