Xtandi

the medication Xtandi brought my PSA down very well. what are your thoughts about me going back on Xtandi with the help of the dermatologist thank you all in advance for your responses

For 3 years I was on Eligard/Xtandi and was receiving Prolia to help keep bone health. All good, undetectable. Then an 18 month vacation, which I am coming off of. All treatment to be the same as before, except th MO wants to change from Prolia to Zometa.

I am on Orgovyx since 2 months and added Xtandi 3 weeks ago. Been getting musculoskeletal pains , mostly around late evening. Not too much - moderate kinds.

After a bit over 5 years on Abirateron and then Xtandi, my Oncologist feels that it’s time to start me on Docetaxyl. Does anyone have experience with cold head wraps, mitts and socks to prevent hair loss and neuropathy?

His doctor added Xtandi to his regimen and per his most recent blood tests -yesterday- his PSA is at 19.24! Per his scan earlier this year there is no metastasis . What is the next likely treatment option? Another drug like Xtandi? Radiation? Chemo?

Does this mean that the Xtandi/Eligard is not working anymore?

Next is Xtandi and I am searching for someone who has been on Xtandi for more than six months and noticed lower sodium levels because of Xtandi Does Xtandi can lower the sodium level?

Since it is an anti depressant I think it may help also in the dullness that has come into him since being on xtandi. How effective is Effexor for hot flashes - does one soon build tolerance to it and needs higher doses later ? And Is it habit -forming and difficult to wean off ?

Are there any studies which show survival or treatment efficacy rates comparing triplet therapy Vs just lupron and xtandi/zytiga

Since 2020 he has completed chemo (got almost a yr of good results), zytiga (about 7 months good results), xtandi (about 8 months good results), Lymparza (never worked), lutecien (stopped after 2 infusions), Cabazitaxel, and this past July was the 1 st participant in new car t trial at Penn.

I've been taking mono xtandi for roughly 8 months. My most recent PSA showed and increase from 0.27 to 0.53. My MO and I decided it was time to resume ADT. Surprisingly, he was able to get Orogovyx approved and I started it last night.

started treatment 3 years ago Age 83 stage 4

Currently on Orgovyx and Xtandi 120 mg. Seems to be tolerating them well apart from hot flashes. Will be doing bloodwork this week and meeting the MO Would appreciate any insights on these reports.

Stopped taking Xtandi just after last SBRT treatment 4/30/2024, 3/12/2024 Lupron expired early Steptember. PSA readings: May=0.023, July 0.05, October 0.9.89Radiologist directed me to stop taking all hormone theropy on or after last treatment and watch PSA stabalize at 1.0 by the end of 2024.

Initial treatment Radical prostatectomy with LN dissection, 6 cycles of Docetaxel, and 3 months of Xtandi. Since that time intermittent treatment with Darolutamide full dose and then half dose. 7 different areas of bone mets tx with SBRT.

I see there is zytiga , xtandi , nubeqa and others. Is it just left to the MO to decide ?

November 2023 put on Xtandi 160mg, have suffered dreadful side effects. Blood Pressure skyrocketed Xmas Day now on 2 BP meds, Onc dropped to 3 pills, then to 2, then back upto 3 horrendous headaches.
