Apparently it’s meant to follow-up on drugs such as Abiraterone and
Xtandi
once they have failed. I’m curious if anyone here is participating in the trial — phase1/2–and if anyone has any information outside of the press release. Thanks so much, Elisa

PSA rising 10 weeks after Orgovyx Holiday
I am thinking of asking for another Pylarify scan to see if there is uptake again in the gland and/or visible metastases and if positive, start on
Xtandi
monotherapy (recent FDA approval for non-metastatic treatment) as
Xtandi
is not expected to exacerbate my Diabetes.

repost - cancer progression - next steps?
Since the cancer is showing radiographic progression on
xtandi
and eligard will his next option here most likely be another round of chemo (a different one such as cabazitaxel) or would lutetium Lu-177 be a possible option for him? Or what would potential other options be?

What’s after Lu-177 in Vancouver, BC?
My dad is on a clinical trial and after over a decade with this disease he has failed Zytiga,
Xtandi
, docetaxel, and is now on his 4/6 Lu-177 infusion. He’s castration-resistant and metastatic.

Has anyone heard of trial DB-1311-O-1001?
We have tried pretty much everything over the last 6 years, ADT, docetaxel, Zytiga, radiation, keytruda (ended badly with severe pneumonitis),
Xtandi
and recently just timed out on Cabazitaxel. We through whatever “herbs and spices” we can at it too when there are no contraindications.

My husband Dave passed away this week, we have 2+ months of
Xtandi
that he didn't use. His wish before he passed was to give this to someone who needs it, we know it is horribly expensive so we don't want it to go to waste.

My husband passed away yesterday - He has 2 + months of
Xtandi
that I would like to send to someone who may be struggling with the co-pays. It was his wish that this not be wasted/thrown away.

What comes after, what comes next?
My dad was hospitalized in February for uncontrollable cancer pain when his PSA was only around 2.5 so the decision was made to move him from
Xtandi
to Zytiga.

Life Expectancy
Initially, he underwent radiation for a few spots on his ribs and immediately began ADT/
Xtandi
treatment for two years. His PSA dropped to 0.001, prompting his medical oncologist to recommend a medication vacation. For two years, he had PSA tests every three months, and everything seemed stable.

PSA not dropping with cabazitaxel
Should I push for PSMA testing or try
Xtandi
first...or both. PSMA testing is not very easy to get done here in Canada. Thoughts/advice please. I want quality vs quantity of life. No quality right now.

UPDATE
After the appearance of a castrate resistant tumour type I started on
Xtandi
which did a great job. As you can see on my PSA curve my psa is now rising at a rate of approx 6months doubling time - and if it keeps this up my PSA will reach 2.0 sometime in the spring of next year.

Update on my father
He wants to still get his normal
xtandi
and lupron doses and live one day at a time, he does not want hospice. I have no idea what this next visit will look like with his MO, he is due for a bonescan and psa draw to see if the
xtandi
is still keeping the bone mets at bay.

Adding calcium in order to strengthen bones
I have Stage IV Pca and on year 3 with Eligard and
Xtandi
(age 59)I've had a DEXA scan and my bones are not in the best shape due to Eligard. Getting zolendronic acid every 4 months I've just had a heart scan, and it seem like one of the blood vessels are starting to calcify.

Latest Update on PATCH
If I remember correctly the population includes those using tE2 in addition to advanced therapies ( aberraterone,
xtandi
, taxanes, etc.) Interesting to note that some of the big Pharmaceuticals are involved in the funding in addition to College of London and UK.
