Greetings,

Recently I read that the FDA is now fast tracking this new drug— ONCT-534. Apparently it’s meant to follow-up on drugs such as Abiraterone and Xtandi once they have failed.

I’m curious if anyone here is participating in the trial — phase1/2–and if anyone has any information outside of the press release.

Thanks so much,

Elisa

They just started recruitment. The initial cohorts will receive a low dose 40 to 80 mg and the last cohorts 400 to 600 mg. They do not allow to cross over from a low dose to a higher dose. There are not data in humans. Nobody knows if it will work.

This is still in early phase trials. Initial results are not expected until sometime in 2024 and then more advanced trials will be needed.

Thanks. I guess we will wait and hope for the best and see the results. Maybe the cure won’t be as bad as the disease;).
