Bladder problems??
I was on
Xtandi
for 3 yrs prior. But I noticed my evening bladder leakage problems got much worse. I usually just use a Maximum Depends Guard at night but all of a sudden I need more.

2/3 of the way through docetaxel
Hubby progressed on both Zytiga and
Xtandi
so there aren't any more options for hormone blockade. We are looking forward to the end of chemo, a few weeks to recover & get some energy back, and planning the spring garden. After 4 1/2 years we both know that all this time is pure gravy.

Happy Holidays
NIH is mailing my
Xtandi
due to covid-19. They used to fly me there, back and forth. I get a teleconference with them. It takes 2 seconds really. I take Zyflamend now as the main one either whole body or prostate version. I get Reclast evey couple years (Zometa).

Nubeqa anyone?
I've been on Lupron for years with add-ons of Casodex,
Xtandi
and Zytiga. Presently on Zytiga (1000 mgs daily). Along the way I have had Brachi, Prevenge and some blind clinical trials. Here is my question: my MOC is thinking of stopping Zytiga and switching me to Nubeqa.

Use of Nitric Oxide booster For Covid treatment found to Reverse 2 month doubling time in My Brother
My brother 27 years after diagnosis of PCa got off of
Xtandi
and Lupron Nov 2019 with it still working ( after 4 yrs On) because at 85 yrs it was making walking very difficult. I suggested he try "Nitric Oxide Booster (Snap Inc.)"

Next Step Docetaxel after Abiraterone & Xtandi failed.
His doctor switched him to
Xtandi
in July of this year. Hubby's PSA climbed from 35.5 in August to 78.6 in October after being on
Xtandi
for 3 months. Had nuclear bone scans and CT scans done again a few weeks ago. CT scans show no soft tissue involvement.

Well got first two bottles today in the mail. I had PC at 50 with a GS of 9. Had radical and 7 week of radiation in 97/98 . So now being androgen resistance this is my next step. I am wondering how others have tolerated this med! Ron

Provenge extends survival for mCRPC patients, compared with Zytiga and Xtandi alone
Not sure if this was posted already, but seems like adding Provenge to the treatment regimen for mCRPC improves overall survival over Zytiga and
Xtandi
(and the numbers are pretty significant): https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12325-020-01509-5#Abs1 Art

When to start xtandi after docetaxel?
Should he start taking
Xtandi
now, or wait for the PSA to start rising? Opinions of different oncologists were divided. Thanks

Starting Xtandi after PSA increase, what to expect?
Das has been advised to start
(Enzalutamide) 40mg - 4 pills a day. (2 each after breakfast and dinner). MO apparently believes
Xtandi
is better than Zytiga for a few reasons.

So, the new phase begins...
Kaiser MO got me on
Xtandi
, and my copay was $20💙 Will still do monthly PSAs and see if it helps with the two 1cm iliac nodes that lit up. Life is still beautiful even with #stageivpca Dental office is busy, seeing patients helps offset ADT induced depression.

TA - technical analysis of PSA
Since then on ADT (lowest PSA 3,7). 2 years ago added bicadex for 6 months, than after rise of PSA went on 6 doses on Docetaxel, (PSA went from 55 to 5,5) and later after one year of steady rise (PSA 85), start
Xtandi
3 months ago. PSA now in downtrend at 11,5.

Please advice - 3months after Xtandi
Started on
Xtandi
in July and in August, the PSA dropped to 0.73 but the Oct PSA started to creep up to 0.837. The oncologist was not too concern and wanted me to continue with
Xtandi
with Lucrin and Zometa. Should I be concerned?

Atypical metastasis? Mediastinal lymphadenopathy - help with next steps please
Xtandi
taken for short while, discontinued due to bad SEs. Zytiga commenced (with pred and ADT) Sept. PSA has now gone to 1.1 as of 4th November. New CT scan ordered for 16th November. No further bone scan has been offered, though it seems highly likely to me that there are now bone mets.

Radium Treatment Experiences?
Hubby has done just about everything, years of Lupron, casadex, zytiga,
xtandi
, taxotere, now on jevtana (which does not appear to be working as psa continues to rise.) Now Dr wants to try a radium treatment in the nuclear med department as a last option.
