Just got back from my Doc in and a part of the gang now! I gots that color on dat ass!
When I was in Thailand I was only taking pills. Back here in America my doc wants to be more aggressive which works for me. He wants to put me on pills similar to Xtandi and the name escapes me at the moment. He's also putting me on something for my bone mets to clear it up and that Lupron, ergo the color joke about redness that might be there haha.
Although I have to do some extra shit that obviously all you guys it makes me feel pretty good.
I really used to get scared every time I would see the doc, now.... I don't give a shit. Maybe it's because I'm tired of being scared. Maybe it's because even though I'm in the Stage 4 club, I have a metric ton of options right now back in America.
Maybe both who knows? Who cares?
Not this guy.
My head is a little cloudy so I am just going to watch movies and play video games for the rest of the day because that's how 45 year old dude roll!

Yo gangs’tr Welcome to the ADT “” all dat “ club brother. Dis it it ..we got yer respek here for sure....
All of us have soiled our selves ( figuratively speaking ) when we had the same bad news and ALL of us have experienced that fear and loathing as well. Brudda we get it completely. It’ll pass in time tho ... mellow out when we start getting close to our families and learning to enjoy our remaining time. It can be a beautiful if not somewhat bitter -sweet , surreal, time.
We are your family here now as well ... you got us to catch your back brother , and if needed , just listen to you as an outlet if you need us for that. It’s “ all dat “ fer sure. Who knows your head any better than the bro’s here . Its all good.
Dude, it's passed. I'm already there about not worrying anymore. I'm not even thinking "remaining time" either. I know I'm not immortal but unless I get a reason why I'm not going to make it to 50 or get a reason why I'm not going to live for 10-20-30 more years, I'm not considering remaining time.
That’s a great attitude .... a bunch of guys here on the group have beaten the odds , so far, and already lived well past those stupid , out of date , death statistics. Even me, ...right now I’m 24 months past the expiration date on my carton. Attitude can be half the fight ...
You’ll know when you are ready to hear that “ settle your affairs, gather your loved ones and concentrate on your QOL “ speech .... clearly it’s not anywhere near that for you now. At your young age you are in great physical condition and you have a great fighting attitude ... both of those are good attributes in this fight .... fight on brother.
I'm just wondering if anyone figured out the picture and the ghetto talk about being in the club was from 50 cent's song, Da Club. Probably not since I'm one of the kids in here haha.
Probably you missed my use of the word “ respek “, as in “ put some RESPEK on Remy Ma’s name, god make her special “ ... dunno just say’in.
Most of the guys here are probably , like me, are over 60 ( I’m 74 ... not gonna say ofay, not gonna do it ) still there are younger guys too, I think most of us old white haired , shriveled up PCa coots think one of the saddest things is when one of you youngsters get caught up in PCa when you still have so much life left to live. We hate that for you more than for us I think.
Basically, prostrate cancer doesn’t care what color you are or how old you are for that matter. Everyone here is a brother in the common cause . Ethnicity or age or color is irrelevant ... totally irrelevant.
Certainly with 40 years age difference therze bound to be that generation gap ... whatever I don’t care at all. Tell you the truth, I’m a 35 year old brain trapped in some old white haired hippie with a 2’ pony tail’s body ... what’s sup wid that !
Well age doesn't matter OLD GUYS. If anyone did a Lawrence Welk joke I would have to think for a minute.. an a one an a two..... and then I would figure it out. haha
