possible treatment change/ markers increasing
I had to stop
xgeva
after a year due to ONJ (last dose 12/2018). Onc had me hold my ibrance/faslodex to draw markers after my week off.

I have doubts from PA that Zytiga is working
SO is on Lupron , Zytiga and
Xgeva
. The Zytiga (1000 MG) with Xygeva were both added 4 months after Lupron.

12/18 due to ONJ (that story is in it's own post). My markers have been inching up from 65 to 71 on the faslodex/ ibrance. PET on 5/4 came back "basically stable" no new lesions, some a little less active some slightly more active.

PSA inching up and a couple of "progressions" on Axumin Pet Scan....hmmm.
I'm on Lupron, Xtandi and
Xgeva
right now. They are bad enough. He said we would keep on the same path....he is ordering a Liquid Biopsy from Foundation One because they said my old biopsy didn't have enough to work with.

Xgeva shots
He is getting
xgeva
shots once in awhile as They won’t prolong life but may help prevent breakage. Should I try to be more vigilant about getting these shots monthly. It has more to do with our travel schedule that we have missed them! Opinions???

Flu or meds
I am on Ibrance, Femara and
Xgeva
injection 4 months, stage IV. Just had PET scan and got good report...Mets down over 50%. However since Friday I felt flu-ish...joint pain, nausea then hip pain for2 days. It’s now Wednesday and all joint pain seems gone but slight nausea and cramping continue.

***17 Months***
Gordon Brown: My treatment so far have been Zytiga, Prednisone, Eligard,
Xgeva
for bone Mets, and most recently three rounds of Provenge. I have been 0.1 since first month treatment. I was in extreme pain at my first visit which has subsided to nearly nothing.

Xgeva
...yet another drug with scary possibilities There are some really good bone density increasing, strengthening, calcium algae products out now, what about that instead? Need to decide! 🙏

Scrotum Itch
Started Casodex, Lupron, Zytiga,
Xgeva
, Prednisone. In about a month, developed scrotum itch, which isn't getting better. At first thought it was associated with night sweats. But jock itch ointments and powder are no help.

Shingles shots and PCa meds?
I'm on Lupron/Zytiga/Prednisone and soon on
Xgeva
. Has anyone been aware of any interactions between these meds and the new shingles vaccine? I will see my MO later this month but, as we all know, they don't know everything.

1 day Fasting
I've been thinking about when would be the best time to do it in conjunction with my meds - Ibrance and Letrozole at the moment, about to start Denosumab soon (
Xgeva
I think it's called in America).

Warning-PC is not always slow growing; be proactive!
Also on Eligard and
Xgeva
. Am now on Olaparib, a PARP inhibitor, used with positive results for BRCA2+ diagnosed PC patients. After 10 weeks PSA has dropped to 0.02. My Oncologist expects this treatment should hopefully be effective for the next 12-18 months.

Off BIRM for almost a month now. Wanted people who were following my "BIRM Journey" to know what's up. Stage 4~ Lupron,Xtandi,Xgeva 62y.o.
I started Fenben (hookworm med) on May 14th/2019 before I decided to take a "BIRM holiday"(on June 20th/2019). I Wanted to see if the Fenben (Joe's Protocol) would have any measurable effect on it's on. Wasn't on long enough for last PSA (which went up slightly from 2.39 to 2.69) to show any grand

***15Months So far so good***
I got my
Xgeva
shot and we talked about new treatments on the Horizon that sound very promising. I don't think I will be the recipient of any of them due to the red tape they will need to ensure but someone will in time.

Hair loss
Hi all I am on month seven of Ibrance Faslodex and
Xgeva
. Starting to lose my hair. I first noticed it was thinning and now see pieces of hair all over. Any ideas or information about this. I’m going to buy a snood today. Does it eventually come back. ? Gwennie
