Pharmacists/Fosamax
I've noticed quite a few of the questions which people raise on this site (e.g. recent ones about Fosamax and Seretide/Ventolin) could perhaps better be raised with a pharmacist. Just wondering why other people don't use their local pharmacy more for advice? Most towns have one which is open late/on

Asthma phone app
As I said in another post, a while ago I wrote an inhaler counter app for my own use. It's very simple, and runs on most Java-capable phones (as if you can run Java games) or Android. Bear in mind that it's something I wrote for myself as a quick solution - it's not a commercial product and isn't supported

oral thrush for a year and a half
Hello all I am having a rotten time of it with oral thrush. I have had it for about 18 months, and have had course after course of nystatin, amphotericin, and fluconazole. It just won't go away, no matter what. I have always used a spacer when I take my steroid inhaler, always swill my mouth with water

Merry Glutenless Christmas!
Christmas! A time for family, presents and feasting until your stomach can't take any more. But what about us? Gone are the days I could just eat whatever is plonked in front of me and now I have to plan carefully weeks in advance. Christmas day itself will involve going tomy boyfriend's parents'
