Finally YES to an MRI
Hoping the
Xeljanz
kicks in soon as so far all I have been experiencing is swollen stiff sore fingers and tender ankles. The foot surgeon could not understand why my rheumatologist would not let me have an MRI, he said he is going to ask him.

Flare in ankles/swelling won't resolve. Anybody have suggestions to help ankles and swelling ?
I went on
Xeljanz
and it did not work took a walk and both ankles swelled bad back in June. Been on humira and leflunomide, prednisone and changed diet but still have swelling in ankles. I don't want to increase prednisone hope it resolves any suggestions, or experiences ?

Worse before better? RA new meds
Hi everyone, Started my new biologic yesterday Tofacitinib by
Xeljanz
5mg. I had been off meds for almost 6 weeks, was going through a testing flare on Monday which jumped from right shoulder to neck to left shoulder blade, albeit it has eased. I commenced my first tablet yesterday at 11a.m.

Major Hip Pain .
I stopped
Xeljanz
on Friday. The major headaches stopped right away however now I find myself unable to stand or walk. I restarted
Xeljanz
this morning but have ultrasound tomorrow in Vancouver. I am hoping the pain resolved itself tonight.

Plaquenil and RA
I have also taken Enbrel, Humira, Remicade, Simponi, Methotrexate, and currently on
Xeljanz
. Each one acted differently. I believe the plaquenil was the most helpful but it really gave me GI troubles.

Happy Update š
It seems I have responded well to cortisone injections in both shoulders and
Xeljanz
. For the first time in three years I am walking again. I am currently walking 5 miles a day minimum. I am still tired but getting it done. I quit smoking in May.

Xeljanz and knee pain
Xeljanz
has helped remove nodules that I have had for 15 years so it is doing some good but not sure it's worth staying on due to knee pain, fatigue and constant sore throat. Anybody relate ? Should I ask to change back to humira or will
Xeljanz
get better ? Help?

Awful rashes! Help!
Hi all So Iām on methotrexate and
xeljanz
(biologic). Last few times Iāve missed a couple of doses of the biologic (the drugs were late coming into the pharmacy), Iāve been covered in itchy red hives all over my body and neck. The minute I take the biologic, the hives go away.

Xeljanx XR and Hep C
After failing quite a few biologics, my Rheumy is starting me on
Xeljanz
XR. I have not received the shingles (not live) vaccination yet so keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get them. My biggest concern is that is can reactivate Hep C ... has anyone taken
Xeljanz
and had it reactive it?

Rheumatoid arthritis
Hi all, I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 36 years and was on arava 20mg
xeljanz
twice a day prednisolone 3mg daily and methotrexate 15mg. I have stopped the arava and the
xeljanz
because I have recently been put on medication for high blood pressure.

Tofacitinib - Xeljanz update 3 months on...
I was prescribed Tofacitinib after exhausting quite a few biologics first; Certolizumab, Etanercept, Tocilizumab and Rixtuximab, are some of the ones I remember! I must admit I was a bit dubious about taking Tofacitinib at first, especially as it was a newly licensed drug and my consultant, rather
