Anyone taking xeljanz? What are the side effects? Anxious about starting it. Have a mild case of RA last two years was taking sulfasalazine and now it stopped working.

Hello !! to answer your question, I have been taking Xeljanz for 7 weeks and instead of getting a relief from my everyday pain, it got worse. Before, when going to bed at night, I could sleep more or less without pain, now not only I have pain but a horrible pain in my leg at night that does not let me sleep till early morning. I just wrote to my rheumatologist to tell her that I want to stop it and I wonder, despite all the pain every day, if taking nothing is not better than taking these prescriptions (who has so many side effects that have to be taken seriously according to the user's reviews I read). This is my experience with this medicine but each one is different, the human body is so complicated. It is said that it's a miracle that such complicated body works so well, I say the real miracle will be a body that will work without being that complicated...if you know what I mean.
