No surgery for now!
Ortho doc said everything looks good, so I don’t need surgery for now! Yay! He will keep monitoring to make sure it is healing properly. Next appointment is Wednesday. Unfortunately I need to continue with the plaster splint covered by an ace bandage. It is quite uncomfortable as it covers my elbow

Laparoscopy experience
I have been referred for a diagnostic laparoscopy for suspected endometriosis, and was just wondering how long others took to recover before going back to work etc?

Diagnostic laparoscopy- recovery time
Hello everyone! I am in the process of getting a diagnostic laparoscopy. I have been called today and have been told that I will have the procedure in a couple of weeks. I currently work at a school and need to let them know how long it’ll take to recover, however, I have read different things. Ideally

Post circumcision sensitivity
Hey guys, I'm now exactly 4 weeks post op with my
wounds
almost all healed and stitches obviously all out. However during these 4 weeks I opted to stay in my room (WFH) and keep my penis exposed the whole time.

I've been circumsized 3 days ago and my penis is still healing. Is the inflamed thing on the back of the head of the penis normal?
And after taking the bath, I pour a bit of Betadine in the
wounds
and use a cotton bud and Vaseline to reduce the sensitivity of my glans, after that I put on a new gauze. I wear very loose pants and skirts to avoid the clothes to touch my sensitive glans.

Laparoscopy - when to remove incision dressings?
Hi everyone, I had a Laparoscopy on the 10th April and was diagnosed with Stage 3 endometriosis in many places. I had it removed via excision/diathermy and am now recovering well. One piece of advice I must have missed on discharge is when to completely remove the dressings covering the incisions. I've

Feeling blue after laparoscopy?
My
wounds
are healing although I'm still pretty sore on the inside, as if my insides are bruised or like I have a bad stitch if that makes sense?? Anyway I've just been feeling quite sad and teary the last 3 days.

So guys I'm currently 10 days post circumcision and the stitches are sensitive can I keep to covered(very losely) with gauze and neosporin so that the

Are we questioning are are sanity?
unfortunately I'm one of those who have a certain health condition but this condition has been dormant, and this time I went straight up to A&E ,and I ended up having another general anaesthetic, and unfortunately had another surgery 2 days later, and discharged after 5 days, and I'm still recovering with

I currently have broken rib and while 'fixing' it I trapped a nerve in my right shoulder!
Both old '
wounds
' rib 2017 and scapula 2011, treatment; strap up rib cage and work out nerve from shoulder? Right hand going numb, affecting right arm! Old rib wound, third one up on right side, bloody annoying! Has happened before not both together, very hard writing this?

TFCC Wrist Pain
Hi, I have pain in my left wrist and have been told its a tear in the triangular fibrocartilage complex (the cartilage in the wrist joint on the little finger side). The pain has been there for approx 8 months and even though I'm left handed I've started doing most things with my right hand. As

I don't believe it!!!!!
After my shower this morning and noticing that the new deodorant I was using announced on the front that it was aluminium, paraben and alcohol free, I felt quite pleased with myself for buying it. Having three other deodorants I decided to look at the ingredients in them too. To my horror I saw that

A comfy dress is heavenly after laparoscopy!
Hi, I'm in week three after a diagnostic laparoscopy, wash-out, and removal of some adhesions for endo. Healing takes time, and I've been feeling cranky, slow and sore. Yesterday, I saw a suggestion to have comfortable clothing to wear after a laparoscopy, so I ordered a sundress online. A comfy, floaty

Constant bouts of Itching
I was diagnosed as to having PMR just under 3 years ago. Currently reducing from 7.5mg /day to 7.0mg/day, using DSNS taper schedule, as I have had problems at this level before, and had to increase the dosage back up again. For the last year or so, I have suffered with extreme bouts of itching, and
