VATS for Diaphragmatic Endo - Help

Hi all,

Has anyone here had a VATS procedure for their diaphragmatic endometriosis? And more specifically, has anyone had bilateral VATS?

I have endo on both sides of my diaphragm which needs to be removed and looking for people’s experiences

Hi Sarah. I am afraid I cannot help with your question but I wondered how did you get diagnosed with it on your diaphragm? I am convinced I have it there as have pain under my right rib continuously during my period/ sore right shoulder and it also hurts when breathing in (but only on my period).I was diagnosed with endo through laparoscopy but they seemed to fob off when I said I wondered if it could be there too. Did you see a endo specialist? Thanks
