Endometriosis specialist
Hi ladies, Had my follow up appointment today after my lap in February. The doctor gave me 2 options, 1 take prostap for a few months to put me in the menopause and if that worked, a hysterectomy would be the cure, or 2 see an endometriosis specialist that has started a clinic at my local hospital and

Prostap Injection!!
I'll be two weeks post injection tomorrow and apart from one day of cramping last Wednesday, I've felt amazing!! I can't quite believe it, I've had no endo symptoms but no side effect either?! Do I feel blessed or should I brace myself for things to come? I've read some bad stuff about Prostap but I

Prostap Injections
Hi, I finished 5months of Prostap injection at the end of April as they weren't working properly. How long should it be before my periods start again? I had a cystoscopy a week ago and my doc seemed slightly surprised I hadn't had a period yet. x

Can't decide on full or partial hysterectomy!
Hi, any advice very welcome. I'm Having a hysterectomy in 2 weeks snd have to decide whether to keep an ovary or not. I'm 46. My doctor wants to do a full hysterctomy with accompanying endo excision( he's experienced). My huge worry is headaches. I've been on prostap with oestrogen patches as ad-back

Total Pelvic Peritoneal Excision - Has anyone had this?
Hi guys. So I'm pretty new to this and I've seen a few people mention Total Pelvic Peritoneal Excision. I was just wondering if anyone would be helpful enough to share there experiences with me? I've tried prostap, multiple pills and had the coil fitted in January. I'm due to see my consultant next

Thoughts on Prostap?
Hi Ladies, I was diagnosed with Endo in November 2013 by laparoscopy, I had a Mirena coil fitted in February 2014.. I've since had another lap in July last year to remove endo and adhesions. Today I went to visit my consultant for a 3rd time as I'm in a great deal of pain again and constantly bleeding

Scared of Anti-Depressants
Despite years of reading hordes of books about Depression, learning about myself, going to weekly therapy sessions (with a terrific caring therapist), and forcing myself to bike ride, keep the house tidy, cook, etc. I still have no motivation to do anything. It's extremely difficult to get myself to

First Ever Post - Just need to rant right now!
So, I had a pretty good day today - I managed to spend some quality time with my husband doing bits and pieces to our car and managed to catch up with my oldest friends for the first time since February- until this evening and now I've got that nagging pain in my lower back and right side. Just a bit
