Does anyone know how long it takes for the prostap side effects to stop? Had my last injection at end of March and hot flashes are worse than ever

It's not good mine are getting worse and more regular x

Hi sorry to gate crash your post but I'm looking for people on prostap to offer me any advice

I had my second injection a week ago and I feel so low lately like I'm in utter despair even I don't want to be around me :(

Is this normal? Is it the hormones?

I've had all the side effects including the hot flushes for a month now and it had stopped my bleeding and clotting and the labour contractions but I still have pain, but I'm wondering if this is from my adenomyosis? My womb is so swollen and heavy so it makes sense I have pelvis and groin pain and back and leg pain right? Because it is pressing on everything?

I feel so bad like I'm suffocating, I'm so miserable, can anyone offer any advice? I guess the prostap is working in some way?? X

Go to the Drs and ask for HRT. I was the same I used to describe it as being emotionally numb but feeling down until I started taking it.

Not sure about the pain as the majority of mine went while I was on it.

Hope it gets better for you Hun x

I personally wasn't affected by this, but I have heard others moods changed. I have been very lucky only had hot flushes and headaches.

I had to go on anti depressants so my mood wasn't affected - it only eased my pain slightly though - I have heard that some people have HRT to help

I'm pretty sure I still had hot flushes for about 2 months after mine. It did get better though as I'm about 8 months after finishing now and have no symptoms from it - although the pain is back and worse than ever :(
