Prostap and mood
Hi I had my 1st prostap injection on Tuesday. I can't stop crying and I feel so irritable it's untrue. Is this a typical side effect? If so, how long does it tend to last? Thanks

Positive post!
I just wanted to post because I am thrilled that I just got my first period since October having had my last prostap injection in Dec. I had my excision surgery 3.5 weeks ago and had very minimal pain today with my period AND managed to have a bm with little to no pain!! Usually this time of the month

I had excision surgery for deep infiltrating endometriosis in July that was not as successful as I had hoped. I had my 2nd follow up yesterday and was told further surgery would be too risky (perforation of the bladder and bowel a possibility) Hormone therapy was strongly suggested, in fact it was that

Long wait
11 weeks into a 12 week prostap injection, having a scan and bloods next Monday and hopefully starting. It’s been such a long time coming I feel so nervous. Just really want it to work. Anyone else just about to start?

Change of medication
Hi I'm type 2 have been on 500g Metformin for 6 years. My nurse changed my perscription to Sukkarto SR 500g . I've been taking them for 2 months. My weight has dropped 8 pounds! I feel so much better and my readings have improved too. Has anyone else experienced this with a change of medication?

Dating & Depression
So there's a guy, and he's awesome. He's really good with all my stuff, but I'm taking so many meds and he doesn't know. I feel like this is something I need to share, but not now. I know that at some point it'll have to come up and it freaks me out to think that he would freak out if he knew that every

Endo, bowel, major vessel and ivf
Does anyone here have any issues involving their bowel and blood vessels. I have been told that one of the major blood vessels has been fused to my bowel (the endo is also in many many other places such as tubes of kidney / bladder, and usual places - stage IV). We've had one very long, drawn out, and

Endo, prostrap injections working but what next in my treatment, ablation or hysterectomy?
Hi, first time posting. I have always suffered with horrific periods. It took around 4 years to find a contraceptive pill that relived some of the pain. In between many years of trying to conceive and being diagnoised with endo (three treatments to remove it) I feel I am back to square one. Since the

HRT AND GnRH
hi all I’m starting to have awful side effects only 2 weeks into my first prostap injection - I’ve decided to go for HRT. However I’m not sure how much I need in terms of dose (I don’t want too much oestrogen). And also I don’t know which brand. Would love to hear experiences x

Hi everyone, I am a 61yr old woman who has been on anti-depressants steadily since 2004 but was on them and/or anti-anxiety medication off and on prior to that for approximately 10 yrs. I have been on Celexa, Remeron, Paxil, and Lorazepam at various times. Currently I am on Wellbutrin and Adderall

Any experience with prostap side effects?
Morning, I had prostap injection on 4th January and AF arrived 9th-16th, my scan on 18th was all good but we have had to delay oestrogen tablets by one week so I start them tomorrow. Anyway I'm still spotting on and off when I wipe and having twinges/cramps in right ovary. Just wanted to see if anyone

Help, I'm on Prostap!
Hi there. I'm hoping that there's someone out there who can shed some light or who has had a similar experience that I'm currently going through. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis (originally 10 years ago but had 2 kids in between) again last month after chronic monthly pain which left me bed ridden

Period after Prostap with Mirena?
I’ve had the Mirena coil in for 3 years and still had periods every few months if not every month (question 1 – has anybody else’s periods just continued on it?), last year I had 6, monthly Prostap injections with my last one being on the 8th of November. I feel so hormonal, emotional, sore boobs, discharge

Prostap withdrawal ?
I had 3 months of prostap injections, last one on 13th December. From the beginning of January I have been in a very good mood, normal self. The last two days are different, I am very low. I just want to sit any cry for no obvious reason! We are getting ready for ivf (nurse appointment 12th feb!) and
