Vyvanse

I was just recently diagnosed with depression and I told my doctor about what I was doing with my medication so she quickly took me off that medicine and put me on vyvanse.

His doctor recommended taking a week off and then starting him on 10 mg. of Vyvanse next week. Anyone have any experience with this drug? Any insight would be great. This condition is so much more complicated than I realized.

My 8 year old granddaughter was prescribed a 30 mg dose of Vyvanse and experienced similar behavior changes after one dose. I stopped the drug and asked for a 10 mg dose after consulting with pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and nurses.

Vyvanse turns my son into a different person and we are looking at options. I appreciate any feedback you may have.

What could I pour the vyvanse capsule into? She doesn't eat yogurt or applesauce. Not sure if I put it into her orange juice or just into some water mix it into a medicine cup and have her take it. We are starting the medication tomorrow . I'm terrified.

My daughter started meds for adhd I attentive type yesterday was day 1. She seems very emotional, was crying throughout the store over nothing really. We are about to start Vyvanse so we'll see how that works. I'm very concerned about how these drugs affect a child's personality and mood. It's a trade-off I guess.

Last year he lost a significant amount of weight from taking Vyvanse and his stomach issues got worse and worse. Because of this we switched to Aderall and that made his stomach even worse.

has anyone ever tried Vyvanse 20 mg for adhd and abilify 5mg ? My son was given these meds today and want to know if any one has tried them .

He was originally on Vyvanse, which he took for about 1-1/2 years, starting when he was 5. He was in Pre-K that year, and his teachers said it helped him tremendously. The main problem with it was that it killed his appetite, and his growth virtually stopped.

We started on the lowest does of Vyvanse. It made enough of a difference, he was still fidgety/moving a lot, but he was finally able to get his work done. And I did notice an improvement in the anxiety. He didn't like taking it, although I still haven't been able to get him to tell me why.

Don't know if it took 3 months for the kolonopin, neurontin, and vyvanse to come out of my system or a recent life experience reality check, but I hit bottom. Glad to find this group!

Hi there just wondering if any one is taking elvanse 50mg.ive just gone on to it and literally stopped taking 100mg a day. It's being ok but this morning I can't get going I'm all twitchy as well
