ADHD and trying for children

Hi there,

I was diagnosed with ADHD in April this year. Being a 25 year old woman who has been through university and has a fairly successful career, this was a great shock to me.

I'm now on 30mg of Elvanse, which helps me so much with my day to day. It completely eradicates the brain fog and I now have a chance of paying attention in meetings.

This is all great that I can be treated and that the medication is working, however, I cannot take it when my husband and I come to try for children next year. I'm not sure how I'm going to cope without the medication, does anyone have any advice regarding this?
