My 8 year old granddaughter was prescribed a 30 mg dose of Vyvanse and experienced similar behavior changes after one dose. I stopped the drug and asked for a 10 mg dose after consulting with pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and nurses. When the prescriber would only decrease the dose to 20 mg, I consulted another practitioner and received a prescription for Concerta. You have to advocate for the children because no one else will!!!
