Any other ideas??
Has anyone been told by their GP, nurse or consultant that they've tried everything and they don't know what else to do? I am feeling hopeless. 34yrs, mum of 3yr old, working, lots commitments/interests, dieting, enjoy cycling/swimming/walking when well. Been told I'm in worst 5% migraine sufferers

Report of today's consultation with my EP Cardiologist - I can have one more ablation
Dear all, I had my follow up appointment with my EP Cardiologist this morning as a follow up to my last (5th) ablation September 8th. My visit did not start well as I could not get into the car park and had to park about ½ mile away on a 2 hour parking bay. When I got to the outpatients department I

Is vagus nerve stimulation an effective alternative in children?
A recent study has added to our knowledge that vagus nerve stimulation (
VNS
) is a safe and efficient treatment for children living with drug-resistant epilepsy who are unable to receive surgery. https://www.epilepsy.org.uk/news/news/vagus-nerve-stimulation-effective-alternative-children-66041

Epilepsy Types
Does anybody out there have a V.N.S. fitted this is short for vagal nerve stimulator. I had one over a year ago. Everything is going fine so far they are meant to reduce any type of seizure. My specialist suggested me having one, because all of the medication that I was taking didn't seem to work and

Refractory epilepsy - where do we go from here?
Because her seizures are generalised, we have been told by her consultant at Addenbrooke's that surgery isn't an option, neither is
VNS
. The drug zonisamide has been suggested as the next option but in the same breath, our consultant has said it's unlikely to have any benefit.

Vagus nerve stimulation Radi4 program
I listened to "Frontier" on Radio 4 last Tuesday @ 21:00. It was about inflammatory disease and alternatives to DMARDs and biological drugs. There are trials happening in the USA and Europe which look very promising. It might be worth listening to the program on IPlayer if you are interested. This is

Would I have to get a confirmed diagnosis or can I just ask to see if the

Vagus Nerve Stimulation Shows Early Promise in Fibromyalgia
The women were surgically implanted with a vagus nerve stimulation (
VNS
) device. After 2 weeks of recovery, they began a 2-week stimulation adjustment period during which
VNS
intensity was increased to deliver as high a current as could be comfortably tolerated.
