After reading other advice on here, I also asked the GP to test B12, Vitamin D, folate and ferritin levels a couple of weeks ago.

That is quite upsetting and I will be starting on vitamin C & D plus androlic acid. I just want to warn people new to pmr to make sure they are aware of this as there is just so little information about the condition other than through this forum. Good luck to you all with your pmr journey.

Hello, My endo has told me this week to increase from 5mcg T3 to 7.5mcg and if that feels ok / no palpitations after a week to go up to 10mcg. I’m also on levo 150 and have been told to go up to 175 at weekends. I posted my recent blood results on Monday. All vits tested December and optimal. Iron

I am currently taking:- Vitamin D-2000iu, Vitamin B12-1000ug, Super B-Complex, which contain folic acid. Fish oil-1000mg. Ferrus fumerate 305mg x2 (prescribed by GP as my levels drop when I stop taking it. I stopped my b12 and b complex 9 days before my blood test.

Hi all , just found out my blood tests show low in iron ,is this common with ET etc first time I have this I take sodium tablets also because was very low and vitamin. D so taking it long term ! I wonder if it’s all part of the condition ? Or the hydroxycarbamide or my age I’m 70 now 😀
