Does anyone have problems using Seretide Inhaler.
I am getting older and now at 68 this year I am struggling with constant infections, disturbed nights and consequent tiredness, I use Spiriva and
Ventolin
inhalers without any problems but after using Seretide twice a day I seem to worsen my coughing and the mucus which is a serious problem these days

7 year old daughter poorly AGAIN :(((((((
With constant visits to my doctors/asthma nurse having had 4 lots of antibiotics, prednisolone, clenil &
ventolin
daily & going back on montelukast (which she was taken off of because she had such a good run all summer), she was then hit with pneumonia in November.

Chest infection... Help :(
She said I have a chest infection which has triggered asthma (I have not had an inhaler since I was 8) I am on 30mg of prednisolone, 1000mg of erythromycin (4X 250mg throughout the day) and a
ventolin
inhaler.

stepping down ....yeah!
I've only had symptoms 3-4 times and therefore barely used my
ventolin
. So I skipped off to the asthma nurse to discuss reducing my medication.

Is it really asthma?
It remains around 250, even after
Ventolin
. Luckily I am attack-free and my life is not affected by the asthma. But is it really asthma I have???? Could whooping cough cause it? I am not allergic to dust, but I do sometimes feel a tightness with strong chemical smells.

Thank you
He told me to increase the seretide and
ventolin
and if things get any worse to ring the surgery straight away. Once again thank you all so much, you were a great comfort in the early hours of this morning. God bless Marie.

Feeling Dreadful -don't know which way to turn now!
He prescribed a preventer puffer twice a day and
ventolin
to use as required.. He said NOT to take the Naproxfen as this would make the asthma worse (so go back to Codrydamol for pain!).

Monteleukast being stopped
I had an asthma review today and after 10 years of stabilised asthma using only my
Ventolin
inhaler and Monteleukast my doctor is going to stop the Monteleukast because she says it works better with a steroid inhaler and therefore should only be taken with a steroid inhaler.

preventer inhaler over the counter
Both my
ventolin
accuhaler and my Symbicort turbohaler ran out a few days ago. the only way I can get new ones is to request via my doctor which takes ""up to 5 working days"" I managed to get one of the pump
ventolin
ones from a&e but I struggle to use these (always have) had to buy a aerochamber spacer

I have been started on a
ventolin
salbutamol inhaler temporarily till my appointment. I get constant breathlessness worse on exertion. My peakflow should be 470 and often drops to 350.

Son 16 months steroids
He is on
ventolin
and clenil inhalers. He had what they thought was bronchilitus last winter and a few hospital admissions for nebuliser and oxygen. He continued wheezing/coughing and in April was referred to a paediatrician. Since his inhalers have kept asthma under control.
