Eklira Genuair 322 (aclidinium bromide)
I am in the early stages of COPD (what type I do not know) and wonder whether I would be better off not taking anything except my
ventolin
inhaler. My question is have any of you had problems with this Eklira inhaler.

When I Went Hoof Trimming...
A few years ago...when I had asthma rather than COPD...and a quick inhalation of the wonderful
Ventolin
was enough to get me breathing again...I used to go with a friend when she trimmed horses and donkeys hooves. She wasn't a farrier...but a simple foot trimmer.

when to go to A&E
My lips looked blue, my face was pale and sweaty, unable to take normal breaths, shaking because of the amount of
ventolin
i had taken, constant horrible cough that i could not catch my breath back.

ventolin and heart rate
I am trying to tackle my worsening asthma by getting fitter, but because the exercise can often exacerbate symptoms, cause breathlessness or a coughing fit I take some precautionary
ventolin
in advance. This is usually effective (though not always).

Constant breathlessness
I am unable to run outside now because of my asthma, I get excruciating pain and unable to breath, I was needing to take around 15 puffs of my
ventolin
to get some relief. I am currently taking Budesonide 400 1 puff twice daily & Phyllocontin continus 250mg 1 tablet twice a day.

Terrible taste in my mouth after stopping smoking.
I have taken seretide and
ventolin
inhalers for years now. What is worrying me is since packing the fags in , I keep getting a bad taste in my mouth, and I was wondering if that has happened to anyone else on the site? Thank you. Marie.

very worried about next cons app
Hardly needed
ventolin
only 2 - 3 times month. Then about 4-5 years ago I went downhill after a couple of really hideous chest infections. I had to take a few courses of steroids and a lot more vento.

Anyone with "normal" FEV1 staged at moderate emphysema?
My brother also has emphysema and like many he benefits from medications spiriva and
ventolin
etc. I know we are all individuals and unlike other diseases this one can present so differently from one person to another. I think I'm feeling out on a limb. Warmest wishes to all Suz xx

Introduction
I took my medication regularly, always carried my
Ventolin
with me but hardly ever needed to use it. Sometimes short of breath on hills or stairs, but that was it. All changed about 4 months ago. I picked up a bad chest infection, and could hardly breathe or move. Had a home visit from GP.

correlation between peak flow and symptoms?
This morning's episodes calmed after several
ventolin
puffs which then took my peak flow to 400, a new high, but I don't usually see such great reversibility, more often between 6 - 12 %.

What constitutes an attack?
However, I've read that if one has to use
ventolin
more than once a week then the asthma is not under control, but I am definitely using it on a daily basis, is this the case with others here? In the last few days, I have had two really quite scary wheezy, coughing attacks.

My battle with copd..
I`m now just turned 70 whoopie, and want to live the best life I can for as long as I can, like all of you good people..I`m taking
ventolin

Confused by my diagnosis
I was prescribed
ventolin
and clenil and started feeling better almost instantly and now feel better than I have for years. I am just confused about why it took so long to diagnose or is it possible the diagnosis is still wrong?

How long do you think i can stay away from GP?
and
Ventolin
when needed. This week i have had to increase my beclometasone to 3 puffs am/pm, increase the atrovent to 2 x four times a day, and taking more
Ventolin
than normal. I would normally go onto oral steroids but havent really had the chance to get to the gp.

Bit of an update - in need of a little support.....
I am on: Seretide 250/25 4 puffs a day, steroid nebs, pred, uniphylline, montelukast, azithromycin (prophylactic 3x a week), seretide, god knows how much
ventolin
etc - inhalers and nebs and then I have atrovent nebs instead of spiriva when I am sick.

This Country Is Ridiculous When It Come To Asthma
with a doctor, then knowing that if that doctor was busy I can't go and see anyone else especially if you work far away (unless you want to sacrifice the whole day and go to a walk in centre), never the less the one doctor I was registered with was crap and the nurse then told me I should not take
