Nebulizers
In my region in England nebulizers have been stopped for home use and therefore
ventolin
nebules are not prescribed . I bought one years ago as the doctor said it would be advisable to have one and I was prescribed the nebules.

Ventolin
doesn't seem to help as well as I'm used to. I've ordered a qvar inhaler to see if that will help. Can't ge a face to face appointment with asthma nurse or GP . I waited 10 days for a telephone consultation but just turned out to be pharmacist!

Stopping inhalers prior investigation.
I have to stop Spiriva 72 hrs before no Seretide for 24 hrs and no
ventolin
for 6 hours prior. Im panicking to say the least I feel I will end up in hospital if I don't take my inhalers as I'm very unstable anyway I get breathless wheeze and cough very easily.

GP won't increase my inhaler for winter
The bizarre thing is that I'm offered a limitless supply of
ventolin
. Just about every time I speak to the surgery I'm asked if I want another one. It's as if they see that as what I really 'need' to control asthma and the maintenance inhaler is an optional extra...

Shortness of breath/breathing issues PV
It wakes me up and I need
ventolin
, which I feel does not relieve it much. Sorry for waffle - in short, does anyone else have this particular symptom and how is it treated?

Fostair nexthaler or Becotide!
I am thinking whether I should ask to go back to becotide and used
ventolin
as required. Those who have used both which one is more effective and less likely to cause side effects in the long run.!Thanks

Shortness of breath and wheezing
I’ve tried antibiotics and
ventolin
, plus over-the-counter pain relief, without success. This has never happened to me before. I’ve had pericarditis before, but this feels vastly different.

Ventolin nebules
As a brittle asthmatic I have been nebulising on
ventolin
nebules for some years now which I have always found works much better for me than a generic salbutamol but have now been told that
ventolin
nebules have been discontinued. Anyone else having the same problem?

Flying for the first time since my asthma diagnosis
I’m newly asthmatic (started treatment end of January - currently on
Ventolin
and clenil modulite inhalers) I’m relatively well controlled but it is all still very new to me. I’m due to travel on a plane next week for 10 hours and I have no idea how my asthma will be while on the flight.

Ventolin and cardiac arrest!
Im confused, I just spoke to the asthmatic nurse for the first time and she asked me how many times I use the
Ventolin
, I said 2-3 times a day, she said that could give you a cardiac arrest...im panicking ...I'm literally afraid to use it now.....

Scary experience with medication.
My wife is a mild asthma sufferer and always has a
ventolin
inhaler to hand. She reached for the inhaler and told me to try it, which I did. Fortunately my breathing improved almost immediately and within a couple of minutes I was back to normal. It was a very scary experience.
