Rib pain months after radiotherapy
Evening all, just wondering whether anyone else has/is experiencing any random pains, I say random but think entirely related to radiotherapy. On my right side, mastectomy side, I've been getting discomfort when stretching at bottom of ribs, there's nothing to see, no marks or swelling. Any shared experiences

3 Weeks Post Cryoablation
The insertion point was nothing, just a puncture wound maybe a little larger than a
vasectomy
wound in the right groin only. It stopped bleeding sufficiently for me to sit up in the afternoon, and shortly after that I was told to walk around a bit. I was discharged that evening at around 7pm.

Saw my surgeon today....
Had appointment this morning, not seen my surgeon since my last inflating of expander in January, she examined me and was really pleased with how my mastectomy scar looks after having had radiotherapy, she said it looks like we've got away with it, although radiotherapy is the gift that keeps on giving

Hello
I have been diagnosed with stage 2b high grade serous carcinoma, and I'm bricking it ! Feel positive most of the time and then time for bed and my brain wakes up! Thinking of so many things I end up on the Internet ( last night until 4am 😳) Don't want to freak family and friends out with my worrying

Prosthesis advice
Hi all, I had a mastectomy 9 weeks ago without re construction and I am using a 'sublime'prosthesis from the' hospital store cupboard' which I am finding heavy , sweaty and uncomfortable to wear. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to have it assessed and as my time with the fitter will be limited I wondered

Emotional day yesterday
Iv just posted about my operation news which I have no choice in having, otherwise well it isn't worth considering, but also yesterday my older sister had her BRCA gene test result and she is BRCA 1 positive. I couldn't stop crying about it. I feel bad enough suffering with this disease and now potentially

skin brushing/massage
8 weeks ago I had a mastectomy and 3 lymph nodes removed. As I am very swollen especially on underarm and upper arm I have become concerned about the possibility of lymphodema developing. My breast cancer nurse just says this is normal healing , but my concern is that if there is the beginning of lymphodema

Pain and physiotherapy
I had my mastectomy in November and was given physio exercises to do 3 times a day. At first, I had pain in my left arm when stretching, but I did the exercises for weeks and weeks until I had no pain at all and had full use of the arm again. Recently I have had pain again when stretching, even something

Yet more chemo 😜
Hi ladies, well I finished my A&C chemo on Wednesday, having already had T&C chemo followed by a bilateral mastectomy, I was supposed to have had a five week break before radiotherapy started, now it's a three week break before four sessions of CMF chemo to run alongside my radiotherapy. I know it's

Hi, I have just read a piece on Post Mastectomy Pain Syndrome and it accurately describes the pain I have been getting. I'm now 6 months post op. I just wondered if anyone else had heard or suffered from it. I'm due to see my consultant in two weeks due to complications with pain and possible infection

Reconstruction
Hi to all. I'm seeing my breast surgeon on Monday to talk about reconstruction and possible mastectomy on the other side. I had my first mastectomy and nodal clearance in June 2014 and had a skin saving implant put in at the same time so I have skin there already. I've decided that I would also like

Hello
My name is Jane. I have grade 3 stage 4 breast cancer which has spread into my bones. I found out in Sept 2014 so feel ok ish in my shoes now. I was initially told I only had around 18 months. However the hormone treatment I was started on was only affecting one of my breast tumours so I had a mastectomy

Dealing with the aftermath......advice please
As we are booked in for TESA next week as my DH had a
vasectomy
long before we met each other I have started to panic. What if they do not get any sperm? What will that do to his brain?

Chemo?
I had a mastectomy last week and have another nerve wracking week to wait for results and treatment plan. I have felt healthy throughout and am very worried about the debilitating side effects if I need chemo or radiotherapy. What are the consequences of choosing not to have these therapies?
