Hi! My name is Tina. I had bilateral mastectomies in 2009. I learned a lot from my experience. A big challenge for me was managing my JP drains, especially in the shower. One thing I do now is to make and sell drain belt kits. I also gift them to others. During recovery, A friend would come over and

Invasive Aspergilius Fumigata and breast expander .. and microwaveable heat pack
In February 2012 I was unfortunate enough to get Breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy .. I had a brilliant surgeon who inserted an expander to expand my skin to accommodate a silicon implant at a later date ... everything was going well and my implant was scheduled for late Sept

Hi ladies had a mastectomy early Jan followed by total lymph node clearance, was due to start chemo and on actual day of chemo appointment at chemo clinic was told that scan had showed two very small spots on my left hip. Bras for Cancer patients
My mother has had her chemo, surgery and radiation completed. Her one breast is removed, so we are searching for mastectomy bras for her. Are these available online? If so, please tell from which site? And is it safe to wear them?

Hi, I was diagnosed in late December with TNBC, I was given the choice of a lumpectomy or mastectomy of my right breast. Given lower risk of reccurance I chose mastectomy. I had the surgery on march 1st and out of three lymph nodes removed only one had a spot on it, I do not have to have radiation.

I'm Janet. I had breast cancer followed by a mastectomy back in '96. I have a strong family history of cancer, but I feel seeing my grandmother and mother go through the diagnosis and surgeries made me stronger and helped me deal with my own process. I hope I can help someone else, now.

Waiting on laparoscopy
I was bleeding every day, granted it wasn't heavy, so my husband and I made the decision for him to get a
vasectomy
. When I was getting the coil removed the doctor remarked how retroverted my uterus was and had quiet a struggle to get the coil out.

lymph node removal - would love some advice
I was diagnosed with stage 3, grade 3 breast cancer following a mastectomy in August 2016 and had sentinel lymph node removal. Two were found to be positive. I have just finished chemotherapy and am due to have the rest of my lymph nodes removed (intermediate stage they call it) in two weeks time. Whereas
