lymph node removal - would love some advice
I was diagnosed with stage 3, grade 3 breast cancer following a mastectomy in August 2016 and had sentinel lymph node removal. Two were found to be positive. I have just finished chemotherapy and am due to have the rest of my lymph nodes removed (intermediate stage they call it) in two weeks time. Whereas

Fighting for time
I was diagnosed with brca + breast cancer in 2011. After a double mastectomy, hysterectomy & ovaries, 5 years of appts, tests and meds, I was told in Sept breast cancer is back. Stage IV metastasized to bones and liver is full. I am getting chemo as I write this. Round 6 of the red devil. Fighting

Triple negative inflammatory breast cancer.
I have just joined this forum and like what I see in the community, so I thought I might introduce myself. I am 57 and have recently been diagnosed with IBC Triple negative. My journey started in December 2016 when I was referred by my GP to the local hospital cancer suite. They performed the usual test

I'm new here!!!! Can ablation help??
Then after having my last child, we decided it was best for my husband to have a
vasectomy
because it was safer than me constantly being on contraceptives due to the side effects of taking them for older women.

Breast cancer expander problems.
I was interested in hearing from anyone who has had problems with breast cancer expanders. Or people that have not had problems with expanders. Just your experience with them. I had my expanders put in at the same time as the bilateral mastectomy. I just had the right expander removed because

As a newlywed and in the process of trying to cope with the loss of my breasts from recent double mastectomy and with tissue expanders currently , I feel less of a woman and so afraid I will lose my husband. I love him so much and I have felt like he doesn't want to touch me, even kiss me because he's

Can't shake the fear
My surgery was Jan 19th. I still have aches and pains that freak me out. I have gotten a rotten cold, sore throat and off and on fever. My veins are breaking down and some chemo weeks its sheer trauma getting the IV in. (My dr doesn't want me having a port). I'm dreading chemo tomorrow since I am

Hi, I'm new to this site and have the Braca2 gene. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 19th this year. I have had double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery in the same operation on February 11th. I'm still in a lot of pain, is this normal.

It's back... ugh...I'm in the 6%
In 2003 I was diagnosed with DCIS in left breast when I was 44 ( pre-menopausal). I had a lumpectomy followed by 6 weeks of radiation therapy. No chemo. Attempted Tamoxifen, but I was allergic to it and since I was pre-menopause there was not an alternative. In 2011, I was diagnosed with ADH in my right
