What would you do?
So last week I was admitted to the hospital for 4 days with sever cellulitis in my lymphedematic arm. I was given infusions of Vancomycin, Zocyn and Rocephin. On the last day, I was given Dalvance so that I would not have to have a PIC line. The half-life of Dalvance is 14.4 days. Upon admission,

The last ct showed no cancer in his lymph nodes and tumor shrinkage in the bones. The oncologist said his cancer treatments are working so that

Can Prednisone affect Thyroid tests?
For years I suspected my thyroid was underactive. My mother developed this after having children My Dr. said thyroid test is normal and I was surprised because I have so many symptoms of low thyroid. Post infection ibs after c.diff
I've been giving the all clear after three months of battling c.diff . Flagyl failed , vancomycin failed after 2 weeks. Looks like a tapering dose of vancomycin for over two months finally worked . My problem now is I got post infection ibs. Seen gastro Drs but don't look like they can help either .

Primary peritoneal cancer
Sister just finished 4 chemo treatments , then HIPEC surgery, did full hycterectomy, took part of diaphragm, liver, and appendix. She then got MRSA in the drainage. She is 3 weeks out from HIZpec surgery and still not eating. Just drinking. A potassium critically low, kidneys took a hit from the vancomycin

Acute Bacterial Meningitis - post Pontine Cavernoma back out surgery
Medication details – Meronem (1gm injection) ,
Vancocin
along with other medicines. Well BP, Oxygen reading, pulse, Urine – everything seems to be normal. What the doc says is that there is no other way other than keeping patience and wait for the time being until he starts recovering.
