Summer hell
I've started taking L-
Tyrosine
which really makes me feel a lot less foggy but doesn't help with weight loss at all. :(

From Graves to HYPER to RAI to HYPO and now Levo
Because I was so indoctrinated by the health practitioners industry, I experimented with supplements like spirulina, L-
Tyrosine
and Ashwagandha. (This combination I now know was deadly for a Graves disease patient). I believe this ‘healthy’ cocktail was the kickoff of my future thyroid storm.

Excessive sweating.
Help please, I have hashimoto`s, I`m on half a tablet of 65mcg `Whole Thyroid` one tablet showed on my blood test that it was too much. I have excessive sweating in the trunk area, joint pain, frozen knees to my feet. Also allergic, runny eyes. Tirosint thyroid isn`t available in New Zealand

How else can I support my Thyroid on NDT
I am also taking Higher Nature Thyroid Support supplements which provide Iodine and Selenium, plus
Tyrosine
and nine other vitamins and minerals. Husband says he can see a huge difference in me and that I am starting to loose a little of the excess weight.

New Labs, Feeling like Crud, Need your help!
Hey all! You've all been so hopeful before and I have some new recent labs... The back story is that I had TT due to thyca 11/14, RAI 1/15. Started 150 Levoxyl, added in Cytomel, went to NDT and have since gone back to the T4/T3 combo. A month ago I was advised to not only add in the 5 mcg of

Thyroxine at 5/6am??? Is there a reason why it works better at this time?
In the morning I used to take it alone and wait for an hour before coffee, eating and vitamins; in the evening I used to take it with 5htp,
tyrosine
and melatonin (So i guess there might have been some hormonal infighting there?) Just out of interest- I just thought it was a bit odd.

Tyrosine, DLPA etc
And when
tyrosine
doesn't cut it, she suggests D and L phenylanine which is the precursor to lots of other hormones, including
tyrosine
. Has anyone tried these two? What were your results?

Switched to T4 and need advice on what to do next; labs, etc:
Hey all! You've all been so helpful and I wanted to post an update. The synopsis? TT last year and started on 150 Levoxyl, added in T4, swapped for NDT and switched back to T4 as of 1/16. I started at 125 T4 and 5 T3 but dropped the T3 as I really want to discern if I can convert. So as of 1/29

Cat scan with contrast
Would like to know if anyone has had similar reaction and what might be the cause. Had cat scan with omnipaque 300 on neck. The one normal reaction was a slight feeling of needing to go to the bathroom during the procedure. After the procedure, still n the table, felt dizzy, got very cold. Radiologist

Stick with T3 or try NDT
I currently take 125 thyroxine and 12.5
tyrosine
(T3). I decided to drop my thyroxine a few days ago to 100 as I've been getting skin reactions again, dry skin patches and my granuloma annulare is getting bigger again.
