Making T3 chemically
Making T4, you leave all the sites of
tyrosine
molecules to be iodinated - 4 are, giving T4. For T3, all you do is to react the correct one of the sites with a chemical that masks it from iodine binding, but which can be simply removed after the iodination step.

Anyone else had intolerance to fillers in Levothyroxine tablets?
Hi there. Just found this site after frustration and lack of interest in my case by doctors and pharmacies. Having been diagnosed with underactive thyroid 16 years ago I was put on Levothyroxine tablets of varying strengths after regular blood tests and I was feeling pretty good most of the time.

Bruises on fingers !!
Hello everyone… I’m worried my Tirosint dose is too high, has anyone experienced bruising on fingertips ( without having hurt my hand… it seems to be internal! ). Is it a blood pressure problem…? Any advice appreciated! 🙏❤️

5-HTP + L-TYROSINE for Depression?
Hey guys, I want to know if anyone has experience supplementing with 5-HTP and L-
Tyrosine
together. I've learned that since 5htp decreases other catecholamines (dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline) we should also be increasing them.

Hi, I'm on tirosint 50 and cytomil 50. Starting to lose to much weight, and insomnia. No rapid heart beat or elevated pulse. No high blood pressure. I would like to lower my cytomil by 15 mcg to start to see if I feel better. Do I have to titrate down or can I reduce by 15 rt away. Oh, also been sweating

Scientists discover novel oncogenic driver gene in human lung cancer
Although
tyrosine
kinase inhibitors and immunotherapy have contributed to survival benefits in some patients, the overall survival rates for NSCLCs remain low. Patients with NSCLC that are driven by KRAS mutations are often unresponsive to
tyrosine
kinase inhibitors and have a poor prognosis.

Tirosint availability and strength in England
Hi there, I just moved to the UK and neither my GP nor pharmacy knows where I can get Tirosint. Might you have a list of Tirosint-supplying pharmacies in the UK, particularly in south or west Yorkshire? Also, would you happen to know the Tirosint strengths available here in the UK? Thanks.

Should I taper t3 down?
I've had a weird past few months and don't want to get into BUT my anxiety has been unbearable. During the most stressful part, my doc and I decreased my night t3 and my thyroid got inflamed so I felt like I couldn't breathe. We increased back to old dose and symptoms were gone in 2 days. Since then
