My fasther is on 12 weekly triptorelin injections on last 4 years now abiraterone stopped working already started steroid switch few days ago, now doctor suggested for orchiectomy if somebody with knowledge shares goods and bads of orchiectomy or if continue with injection treatments?

New mets appeared on Psma let scan no prior treatment before that other then triptorelin injection and abiraterone with prednisone last 3 and half years, now someone please help deciding between docetaxal vs 225AC PSMA617 vs Lu117 Psma and moreover that if anyone have idea about 225ACPSMA 617 treatment

My father age 71 have been on abiraterone and triptorelin injections every three months last 3 years and few months since diagnosed last few months psa was rising slowly 0.03 to 3 in few months doctor suggested for the Psma pet scan and 5-6 bone mets including new meta developed on 8th and 10th Ribs

Since I stopped triptorelin injections in Spring I now have one week of every month where I feel very run down, fluey and feverish and my already excruciating daily pain increases. I get a bleed plus rectal bleeding too. The pain is absolutely horrendous.

B) Change Leuprolide for any other LHRH agonist like Triptorelin or Goserelin (this wouldnt be economically viable, since it has to be paid from our empty pocket because public system only have Leuprolide).

Just having a look through our previous FET I had one triptorelin ( Decapeptyl ) injection at day 25 of my cycle. Does anyone know roughly how much this injection is? I’ve tried to google but there are loads of doses but not even sure what dose I had before. Thanks xx

I've been put on Triptorelin shots to prepare for the lap and have been told to expect the worst - with the bowel affected they may need to cut parts of the bowel out, which may result in a temporary stoma bag. However.

Has anyone experienced bad withdrawal from decapeptyl/ triptorelin? My 3rd and final monthly shot was nearly 6 weeks ago and I decided not to have any more due to the side effects.

I’m due excision at end of August & surgeon started me on Triptorelin GnRH-a injection to reduce pain and shrink cysts & whatever else is going on inside. I feel my pain has significantly increased so wondering if I should really have the second shot, that is due in two weeks time?

Just wondering if any of you have been put on triptorelin injections as a way of treatment and if so how did it effect you? I have endo but also suffer terrible heavy periods which have decreased my iron levels dramatically.
