Should I ask to go up on my levothyroxine dosage?
Hi everyone! As suggested, I followed everyone's advice regarding the blood test, and also I've been taking the levothyroxine earlier (leaving more of a gap before eating or taking other medications) for a month, and my latest results are: Serum free T4 level 12.0 pmol/L [7.9 - 14.4] Normal 05 Apr

Copy of an excellent old thyroid book... by Broda Barnes
https://jeffreydachmd.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Broda_Barnes_Solved_Riddle_Heart_Attacks.pdf I've started to digest this copy of Broda Barnes book....it helps explain many of the things I've suspected about thyroid hormones...and validates my near obsession with T3! Thanks to kiefer who posted

subclinical hyperthyroid after hemithyroidectomy
evening all 🙂 I had a hemithyroidectomy in 2021 due to a large benign tumour on the left side of my thyroid, the right side was biopsied but left due to being non cancerous even though there is 3cm nodule on there. I didn’t get put on any medication post surgery as bloods were all ok. Lately I’ve

Ivf loss - due to lack of TSH/ Hypothyroidism monitoring? Any advice appreciated :)
Hello all, very useful & supportive group this! :) thanks in advance for any thoughts.. My partner has hypothyroidism, and takes levothyroxine for it. She had 1st ever IVF transfer (frozen) in November, which became positive but sadly didn’t get past 4 weeks. Out of curiosity, she asked her GP to test

A little advice please
following on from my last post where my blood tests showed low tsh (following protocols) I was called into the dr today. Dr wants me to drop to 50 one day 75 the next. I feel quite settled on 75. He took my blood pressure and pulse both of which were low. Should I try the lower dose to see what happens

From all my test results in my bio, it is known I am a poor convertor.
