happy or change meds?
If your labs looks like this, would you be happy or increase meds a little? TSH: 2.34 (range 0.40-4.5) Ft4: 1.2 (0.8-1.8 ) Ft3: 3.1 (2.3-4.2)

over medicated new dosage help!
hi lovely people, over the past 18 months Iāve slowly lost 21lbs. Over the past week I have noticed I am having over medicated symptoms (I have been overmedicated before so know what to look out for). I am currently on 100mcg levo and 10mcg lio. Do you think I would be better taking 75mcg levo with

Hashimotos/Novothyral 75
My first time posting. I am not sure if a message this long is allowed so I do apologise. I was seeing London consultant as have Hashimotos. Was moved from Levothyroxine 75 every day in November 2023 to Novothyral 75 every day instead as apparently my T4 wasn't converting to T3 very well. Took

Adding to my back again post
The six weeks i went without levo this was the full results. Free t3 stayed good at 2.70 range of 2.18 to 3.98, my free t4 dropped drastically to .78 range .76 to 1.46 and my tsh shot up to 9.12 range .36 tp 3.74. My question is what causes the free t4 to drop so drastically without meds but the free

Iron and t4/t3 update
Thanks for everyone here for educating me, I have managed to get my iron levels to a higher levels they may have ever been! I'm so pleased and hopefully they'll continue going up. I have used the Heme iron recommended by many here. It's been one year since I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I'm

Chat with GP. Disappointed.
So recent post my TSH is still high I feel at around 4 but just in range but I know and told him about the facts and figures for it and still having symptoms and declined an increase. I feel I should do it myself. .. I canāt afford to see an endo or such so pls donāt suggest. I donāt know what to do?

Dose change - feeling AWFUL
As per my previous post, my TSH was over 4 on 50mcg, so I did a week on 62.5mcg and now a few days on 75mcg. I feel terrible. So tired, weak, muscles ache, headaches. Iām still on the Wockhardt brand as it suits me best. I read somewhere this can happen if your cortisol is low. I had low 9am readings

Thyroid Lab Error
I've had thyroid disorder now for many years and it's been well managed. Now I'm pregnant and getting tested every month. I had a weird experience where my tested my TSH as 4.8 (0.4-4). That raised alarm bells so I went to a private clinic to get full blood work (FT3, FT4, vitamins and minerals etc.)

Is my 7 year old son hypothyroid?
My son is 7 years old and he doesn't seem to be growing enough, at least in the last year or so. I am suspecting he could be Hypothyroid because of my genes (Hashimoto's and Type 1 diabetes), so we did some blood work: hGH - 0,27 ng/mL (0,05 - 11,00) IGF-I - 74,93 ng/mL (18,00 - 307,00) TSH - 3,574

Lab results , here we go!
Hi all, So I've been diagnosed with Hashimotos for 30 years. It took me 20+ years on Synthroid and feeling crappy to educate myself as to why. Well I learned of T3 and it was added bout 11 years ago. Last year on a visit my bp was elevated, I went to a cardio and had all tests . All was fine but

Just starting on levo at 50.....can you advise me please?
Good morning, further to my previous "excited" post at being medicated! Can you please advise me as to whether I should start off at 25 for 4-6 weeks (see how I go) before taking the 50? I've never taken this before & having read all the posts here it is very clear that "small & slow" is the way forward

Hashimotoās (UK)
I am based in the UK. I have Hashimotoās disease and take both T3 and T4. would someone please be kind enough to decipher my recent bloods? The results have caused my GP to interfere and reduce my T4 because my TSH isnāt registering. I am EXHAUSTED of having the same argument with them explaining

Update on Labs - What is Going On? :-)
Labs done ~7AM - 24 hours after T4 and 12 hours after T3, having stopped biotin 4 days prior. My endo has been good about letting me have needed T3 after being deficient for over a decade with other doctors. I am not sure what to make of the labs since she upped my T3 back in December. I started dosage

Endo appointment and low TSH
Hi all, Please see my results below. My GP is making noise about my suppressed TSH but she's leaving it to my endo, who I have an appointment with on 18th June. They don't know that I take liothyronine as well as levo. I'm not sure whether to fess up or not just as a way to explain the suppressed TSH
