unit. I am taking gabapentim and a high strength anti inflammatory. I will not take opioids. Does anyone have any advice for me? If I attempt to do anything, I’m in extreme pain. Feels like someone hit me on both shoulders with a baseball bat.🙁

Pretty good result after carbo/caelyx.
Just been for scan result after 6 sessions 2nd line carbo caelyx treatment and though Ned was never on the cards the tumours in liver abdomen and pelvis are all reduced plus the lung one is stable so I am really happy with that. I can get on with enjoying Christmas and no hospital for 3 months - what

Tooth extraction and blood tests
My dentist finally agreed to take the two infected teeth out on the condition that I stop Xarelto for two days prior. My appointment is 6.30 pm and my dilemma now is that I have blood tests early the following morning for the cardiologist. Does anyone know if the extractions so soon beforehand will impact

Hybrid ablation part 2
I am part of a clinical trial to judge the outcomes of a mini maze procedure followed by a catheter ablation compared to two catheter ablations. So-called 'Palliative Care' is not all it's cracked up to be.
Morphine, Fentanyl, Ordine, Endone, and Panadol had absolutely no effect in reducing the pain of a tooth extraction which had me in a hospital bed for a week. The morphine dosages were usually 10mg, but on a couple of occasions it was 20mg ~ with zero effect. I have a few months to live as I have leukaemia

verapamil
Has anyone been given verapamil to use as a pill in the pocket to either stop tachycardia or stop pvc's ? I was at the ER a couple of days ago with tachycardia that lasted almost four hours. 100ml of Flecainide didn't stop it so they did a chemical cardioversion and it stopped it straight away. I'm always

Tooth Extraction on Apixaban
My father-in-law, 92, is on 2.5 x 2 Apixaban/day. He's due to have a tooth removed and the dentist has said he must be off the Apixaban 4 days prior to the extraction. I asked the nurses at the home, where he lives, why 4 days when it has a half-life of just 12 hours! Reply was that the dentist is used

Still suffering after hypothyroid diagnosis, looking for encouragement.
I am pessimistic about the supplements ever creating enough positive
traction
to reverse this long-standing problem. I guess what I'm looking for it is any kind of support from someone who may have been through this before and successfully reversed their situation.

Apixaban and tooth extraction
I had a filling at the dentist last week as I had broken a piece of my tooth. Dentist said If it didn't work I might need a crown or tooth out, it is my back tooth. He also said if I needed to get it out I would need to go to hospital for the extraction because of Apixaban. Over the weekend it has

Exhaustion after tooth extraction
I had a molar extracted under local anaesthetic after I got an infection which was draining via a gym fistula. Not pleasant but no pain and no antibiotics needed. Had the infection for about a month as wasn't classed as dental emergency. The extraction wasn't complicated and it looks like the gum is

Jawbone Death
Bisphosphonates BEWARE If entering into any treatment that includes a bisphosphonate such as Zometa - added as an IV during chemo treatment. Others are taken as tabs, ensure you have any required dental treatment first. It says so on the packet! My case? 10 cycles chemo. Great results with that plus

New member - what should I expect from injections
Following a long bout of flu, sinus infection, tooth extraction and post viral fatigue at Christmas I have continued to feel run down. I then noticed several other smaller symptoms like pins and needles, migraines, ridged nails, ringing in left ear all building to a picture of me not being quite myself
