Thyroid peroxidase (TPO)

3 - my TPO levels have fallen drastically, is this due to the thyroxine or perhaps because I’ve given up gluten? 4 - what’s Thyroglobulin? not sure I know what that means? 5 - any other pointers greatly appreciated!

Last results on 100mcg Levo only, 08.20am TSH 0.04 (range 0.27 - 4.2) T4. 23 (range 11-22) T3 5 (range 3.1 - 6.8) TPO screen negative <15 Cortisol 325 (133 - 537) Hi I’m 10 days in of taking T3 - 5mcg x2 day and reduced dose of Levothyroxene to 75mcg.

Also does anyone know why I’ve gone from 0 TPO antibodies last year to 264 this week? Does it mean I have hashimotos?

In this last year my TPO antibody tests (3 of them) have been normal and I had a single nodule on my thyroid which has disappeared. Any thoughts? My vitamins/nutrients, etc. (B12, D, Folate, etc.) are all pretty good.

My results are normal but my thyroid has been acting up for years (I also have TPO antibodies).

TPO? Im on my way...so busy I have not eaten today! Have to wait til Friday or Monday for the results. What kind of ranges in antibodies show up if I am hypothyroidism?

So I was wondering if the TPO antibodies tested for are the deiodinase enzymes that are being referred to as D1, D2 and D3? And if it is whether it varies between them, such that they are specific to D1, D2 or D3?

Trab and tpo antibody tests were negative. I have been having hyperthyroid symptoms for about a year. I am awaiting my next consultant appt but at the last clinic he said he thought it would be a nodule and the treatment would be either Radioiodine or surgery.

what would a TPO of <50 IU/ml <50 mean ?
