Don’t know whether to be happy or not 🤔
So I had an MRI done last week for another illness and they sent the results to my consultant.. he just called to say that my last
TPO
were 32,000 and judging from the MRI, my thyroid is completely gone “nowt left” is his words so my hopes of eventually coming of eltroxin have been dashed..

Ok so next piece of the puzzle...I don’t have hashis!.....
I have had many many
TPO
and TG abs tests and s have been negative. In 2018 after a number of months of hyper symptoms was diagnosed with Graves’ disease with a positive TSI ab test. This went into remission and I am now hypo again on 100mcg of Levo.

Endo letter regarding t3 assessment
My results (bloods taken that day after my 3pm appointment without fasting and having taken levo and metavive that morning) were as follows: FT4 21.8 TSH 0.31 Free T3 4.9 Anti
TPO
. 13 Random serum cortisol 620 (Nb no ranges have been supplied so I assume standard NHS ones apply?)

Do high levels of T3 have to potential to shut down T3 receptors?
I have rheumatoid arthritis, and present
TPO
antibodies. Iron is normal. B12 is high. Thanks in advance!

Where to buy Thyroid-S?
TPO
178; Tg 16.5. Nutrients (D, B12, folate, ferritin) are all in range. I'm a 47yr old female and have been having declining libido and muscle tone so I've been taking DHEA at 50mg for about 6 weeks. Thinking about slowly adding in pregnenalone too.

Significance of Anti-TPO as an Early Predictive Marker in Thyroid Disease
Further assessment showed that only anti-
TPO
could be used as a standalone marker but not anti-Tg.

Clarification please on Graves/ Hashis antibodies?
My antibody results in 2018 and 2019 have been:
TPO
58 54 43 (0-34) TGAb 55 88 (0-115) I can get a private TSH Receptor Stimulating Antibodies blood test done - is this the definitive test for Graves? I assume that is the TRAb test?

Free T3 below the range :(
I have Hashimotos with positive
TPO
and TG antibodies. My TSH is 1.01 (0.55-4.78) free T4 13.3 (10-20) 33% through the range and free T3 3.4 (3.5-6.5) -3.33% through the range. I'm currently on 75mcg levo, for which I had to really push my GP to prescribe, I increased the dose myself in the end.

From Port to Picc...
Still no blood return with my dad’s port. He had chemo in his arm vein again today.I had to leave him and go to work; asked the nurses if someone could call me to tell me how he did, and if there was any change in the game plan...nobody called me, so I wonder how long they let the TPA or whatever clotbuster

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
My
TPO
antibodies are down to 26 (they were at 200 just a year ago) and the pain from the fibromyalgia is reduced. My practitioner said that the quick reduction in
TPO
antibodies is due to the LDN and I am inclined to agree.

Free T3 and T4 at the bottom of the ranges. What to do next?
My
TPO
increased from 100 and TgAb from 532 since April 2019. I'm currently on 75mcg levo, for which I had to really push my GP to prescribe on TSH 1.9 - I increased the dose myself in the end. I'm also on Low Dose Naltrexone initiation - currently on 3.5 ml.
