My recent test results are headed "Abnormal but expected"
Last year I had difficulty with my GP. He refused to raise my thyroxine prescription after two blood tests said borderline and old symptoms had returned. I had a private appointment with endocrinologist who wrote to him and my prescription was changed. I had my annual blood test last week and accessed

Not gluten intolerant vs. raised antibodies
OK, I know that I must have been told this before but my brain fog is getting the better of me...what with trying to keep my job on a daily basis, looking after my mum with Alzheimer's without government help/intervention and doing IVF...but if I am not gluten intolerant (I did the blood food intolerance

TPO elevates while TSH goes lower than normal. Symptomatic again 3 weeks ago ( exhaustion/hair loss)Do I need to lower my dose?
Hi everyone! You are all a blessing and I am so happy to have a site such as this. What would cause my Thyroperoxidase to continually go up from a 600 to 880? My TSH is going down to a level that makes my dr think I should decrease (Levo).88mcg for a few days. Meanwhile, I have been having hair loss

Advice on convincing endo re NDT
Her
TPO
antibody was 320, thyroglobulin antibody 53, TSH 16.3 miu/L, fT4 10.6 pmol/L, fT3 4.7 pmol/L. Thus, she has overt primary hypothyroidism as her fT4 is low and her TSH is elevated. The cause is autoimmune/Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in nature.

Medichecks results - not as expected - thyroid all seems in range
Hi everyone - I've received my Medichecks results back but was a little surprised that all my thyroid levels are in range. I had quite a long list of results which I'll post below (thyroid first) in the hopes that someone may share their thoughts with me. (edited to add - I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis

Success Thyroid Story
My TgAB (Thyroglobulin antibodies) were around 50, and my
TPO
(thyroid peroxidase) were at 90. I could barely get off the couch, I was beginning to flirt with the idea of suicide as I no longer found anything in life exciting, not even food, or music, which used to heal me in down times.

Help with test results
I’ve recently received some test results that show my
TPO
Antibodies are very elevated. My other thyroid results are within normal range and I feel fine. Because of the elevated
TPO
my doctor thinks I have Hashimoto’s Disease. They are his notes on the photo.

Research on antibodies - what I found out
I had really elevated antibodies, both
TPO
and TG antibodies. My
TPO
antibodies were 400 and my TG antibodies were off the charts (>4000). Anyway, to cut a long story short I have managed to get my
TPO
antibodies into range by cutting out dairy and gluten entirely.

Test result help please
The results are as follows TSH 0.42 I do know the ref. ranges for this which are 0.2-4.0 FT4 19.5 pmol/L, TT3 1.5 nmol/L,
TPO
antibodies <28 in/ml. This was in March this year. Last week I had a blood test at the G.P’s results are as follows TSH 0.19 (0.2-4.0). They will only test for TSH.

Thyroid advice, please!
I had raised
TPO
antibodies of 368, a few years back, so was treated for Hashimoto's. I was put on Levothyroxine for a while but symptoms persisted, including increasing pain in both legs.
