Blood test results in full. Can anyone find a cause in there for my continued fatigue etc?
I still have the same symptoms, although some have improved a bit, but not gone, by any means. Still housebound. I list below Blood test results. Can anyone suggest an issue that may cause my symptoms because my GP says no action, normal. Serum 25 - HO Vit D3 level 135nmol/L 50-174

I had a hip replacement 3 years ago which according to my consultant was successful. Since then I have experienced pain in my lower back above the buttocks on that side.I have seen my consultant twice since and he just says the hip replacement was fine. I often have to stop and sit down whilst out walking

knee replacement
I see my liver doctor again in January and if all goes well I’ll have knee replacement surgery in Feb. it’s taken me awhile to decide because I was worried about the impact post op that anesthesia and pain meds might have on my liver. My lab numbers have remain within normal range for the past 2

Hi. I’m new to HealthUnlocked and to this group. I’m also in America, so I hope it’s OK that I post here. I’ll try to put in all the info I have and follow proper posting guidelines. It’s taken me a while to be able to get this post all typed up due to tiredness and brain fog. I just had 3 month follow-up

Thyroid medication changes when starting HRT for perimenopause
I have been self medicating with liothyronine and levothyroxine for the past two years or so. Today I started the estrogen patch for perimenopause symptoms, and will also start progesterone in a couple of days. The provider that prescribed these said that some women need to increase their thyroid

Iron blood test results are back, please could you take a look for me?
In a previous post I gave my Ferritin result from a blood test in March (this was 36.90) and I was recommended to check my other iron levels before taking iron supplements . I now have these results back and would be really grateful if you could let me know your thoughts please : Medichecks BLOOD TEST

Surgery and Pred?
I am due to have a knee replacement fairly soon - I met someone else with PMR yesterday and she asked me whether I intended to increase my dose of Pred prior to surgery. I'd not thought about this and I hope it's not necessary. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

Please enlighten me!!!
I have not had labs since 2023 and needed new RX. The following are results from 4/11 at which time I had not taken any thyroid meds for one week. I had really been concerned about the possibility of heart issues due to over 6 months of extreme fatigue, inability to do even light excercise, shortness

Hi all, Apologies for the long post. I'd like some advice please regarding jaw clenching when on Levothyroxine. Does anyone else have this issue? I am currently on 87.5mic Teva levothyroxine. I have asked my pharmacy for a different brand to see if it helps, but they tell me that they can only get

Patches (I'm depending on you, son)
Dated pop reference - sorry. While my research has continued, my oncologist has nothing to give me within the SOC to keep the PSA in check. Now I've witnessed another unwelcome visitor: facial hair (it only took me 70 yrs to start shaving....) Joking aside however, that means the T is on the rise.

Help and Advice
I have been suffering some time now ( years perhaps ) with debilitating symptoms such as exhaustion, puffy face, coldness, constipation, dry skin, hair shedding, muscle aches and more recently severe numbness and pins and needles in my hands. I thought this may be the onset on menopause as I am now

Hi all I’m coming up to 5 weeks after valve replacement, removal of web and thinning of thickened muscle. Had x ray and ecg, 60% healed and function looking good apparently. Which is great news. I’ve been walking each day, I’m up to a couple of miles and on short hills BPM up to 130. May have overdid
